| lol Am I too aggressive? Looking through http://www.bet-the-pot.com/poker-tra...ne-page31.html, a help site for PokerTracker, I noticed this section: Quote:
I decided to compare my stats for my 71 SnGs I've played at Stars with it. I only have a little over 2000 hands in that span, and realize this is a tiny sample, but the hands I do have are very representative of how I play. First off, I realize that cash hands and tourney hands are much different (especially at different levels of the game); do these hands accurately rate my play statistically? I mean I play SUPER tight at the begginning of a SnG, and then get SUPER loose in the later stages; I guess the stats would represent the average of the two and everything in between, but is this a legit way of looking at my stats? Second, If they are legit stats, then what do you think of my stats? The main thing I'm looking at is my aggression factor which seems too large maybe?? Am I too aggressive? Here are my stats: Hands: 2071 VP$IP: %20.18 Aggression Factor (AF): -Preflop AF: 3.46 -Flop AF: 7.47 -Turn AF: 3.67 -River AF: 0.8 (most hands don't get to the river unless we're all in) Raised PF: %16.32 (also above the recommended max.) |

| Your pre-flop raise % of over 16 sounds very high (7% is considered "aggressive" in pokertracker's defaults)... but if that works then it's not a problem, just your style. Could also just be a symptom of playing sit and goes, where you'll obviouly raise more when you're short handed. I dunno. |
