What if any software (e.g. PT3, HEM, etc) do you use while playing their tables and/or what websites (e.g. Sharkscope) do you visit while playing?

Geeze lockoot willy no bueno.

What kind of lockout problem are you having? Is it in the login section, or will it just no load. You could always run a system restore to restore you system settings back to the way they were a couple of days ago. Sometimes a automatic update will mess something up.

re: Locked out of Ultimate Bet poker

Nah, PT3 and HEM are allowed on all poker sites that I'm aware of. There are many programs that aren't and some sites (like PS for example) has outlawed the the use of the sharkscope HUD and website while the PS client is running. But if you never visit the websites while running the client and the only program you use at all is PT3, then I'm out of ideas.

You don't use a table opening progam or table rating program do you?

What about something like what happened on FT. Do you short stack tables or rathole? Or play many tables in an ABC (bot-like) way?

I was once locked out after a year of being on there. Turns out they didn't change the password. They had a problem with my screenname (which was BS, as there are 3 other 'bitch'es there that i know of). Point is they NEVER bothered to tell me this - my acct was simply not accessible. Error message was my password wasn't valid. And it took them a week to get back to me, telling me they'd gotten complaints about my name "due to its nature". Gimme a break. The answers I'd gotten in the first couple days were nonsensical and didn't solve the problem. They have the worst customer service. I'd never put a dime in there. And that is disregarding their scandals.

Re: been blocked

What method did you use to make the deposit? Sometimes if you use echeck and you are an american...your bank can reject the deposit. Banks usually let any withdrawl hit immediately. But after further investigation they may have found it to be possibly illegal, and ANY POKER SITE and any bank they are just protecting their own interests. They are not going to risk getting shut down for one player to reach a "status" level. (Which they know few pay attention to.) At least they didnt BAN you!

Let us know if they give you the reason!

Now this is a very good possibility,I did deposit using echeck so maybe something happend there, but you would wonder why I was able to play almost 2 full months before the block/reveiw????I still have not heard back from them and it has been 48hrs.

I can't imagine that's it. The echeck charge was on my next checking account statement, it takes a week or so to clear or get rejected. Also it shows under some totally innocuous name, not Ultimatebet so I doubt the bank would have any idea what it's for.

re: Locked out of Ultimate Bet poker

A couple things have crossed my as to why your account may be under review.
1. You have been using multiple accounts and have been found out.
2. You have been accessing your Ultimatebet account from another computer other that your own.

Though #1 is less likely as you're an honest player I would have to go with #2 on this one.

The only trouble i've had with Ultimatebet is that i can no longer play blackjack, since the end of 2007 it has been this way and support tells me they have been having issues........it's been over a year, you'd think this problem would be fixed.

You know,#2 just might be it.The other day my girlfriend dropped me off at college so I could finish up an assignment and while waiting for her to return to pick me up I took a seat in the internet cafe and started playing some micro limit ring tables to waste time.I wonder if this is the reason? Why wouldnt they let me know about it or as to why my account is locked right now?

You can try going here and using their live chat feature.

I also came up with a phone # you could try: 866-605-0311 It says it's for the cashier, but it couldn't hurt to try since technically you are having a cashier problem. You can't log into your account therefore the money at the cashier isn't accessible.

Did a little google research and only found one thing similar regarding the "Recovery Department". There was a guy that claimed fraud on a CC that was used at Ultimatebet then declined and charged back. After that Ultimatebet was going after the guy for the money it seems. Anyway, the point is only that his dealings with Ultimatebet with trying to rectify his issue were coming from the "recovery department". That leads me to believe that "recovery department" is there version of trying to get back some funds that they feel are theirs or something like that.

Have you had and credit card transactions with Ultimatebet at all? Did they work or not or get cancelled? What about the e-check thing? Did that ever come back to you from the bank? I don't know if any of this applies to you at all, I'm just throwing some ideas out there.

I have deposited in the past with a credit card with no problem,I havent heard a thing about the echeck.I guess I should check with my bank to find out if it went thru.I just find it strange that I was able to play for over a month without any problems after I used the echeck?I am confused now.Maybe I will try calling them to find out.
