| Not a lot of folks sign-in on a Friday night, so don't expect too many replies right now. There will be a lot more online starting tomorrow morning. You can also use the search function (right under your sign-in info block). I just entered 'kentucky' in the 'search all posts' and came up with 115 threads containing 'kentucky'. Might be worth looking through. Many will be about what your Governor did to try to steal poker site internet registrations, but in a quick scan I saw at least one member who mentioned living in Kentucky. GL, and welcome to Cardschat. |

| I live in the middle of Kentucky and hit a game in Perryville every once in awhile. $6 door fee, $25 tournaments ($24 goes to payout, $1 goes to a bad beat pool which is probably around $4k now). They have a $1/2 NLH game running and an Omaha hi/lo. Several $1 limit Hold'em tables develope as people bust out of the tournament. They play every Thursday at the American Legion. There's another Legion game on Saturdays. In Louisville/Lexington, there are other similiar tournaments. I used to go on DerbyCityPoker to look for charity games (church games, school games, etc.) |

| There are places that play every week. I remember seeing leagues in both Louisville and Lexington, where free games were held a few times a week at different locations (bars mostly). This was run by some nation-wide company who ran similar events in other cities. You got points depending on where you finished each game, and the points added up. People with high enough scores at the end of the season were invited to a game that had real prizes. I want to say that the winner of each city went to a bigger/national game, where the winner got a WSoP ticket, but I'm not sure. I checked HomePokerGames for KY and that have some clubs listed.
