I've just installed Mint8 on mine and i am dual booting at the min to play poker on vista, do you use HEM or PT3 through the VM software too?? I want to ditch vista completely but i havent looked into using tracker software on linux yet. Apparently pokerstars has a linux client, i think ive seen an email reply from pokerstars support, try asking them about it.

Right now I'm just using FullTilt and Pokerstars, sometimes I test another poker sites but I use to play frequently just FLT and PokerStars. I use ubuntu 9.10 64 bits, and Sun VirtualBox OSE ( Open Source Edition ) running a windows XP guest just for poker purpose. Some sites has java clients that runs well on linux like NoIQ Poker, for example. But I could not find anyone with a full linux client. Tried to contact support teams and the answer is allways the same. " We do not support linux OS at this moment." I think this is a big mistake since many linux users are also poker players. The first poker site running a full linux client will fast achieve a wide set of users .

re: Linux poker clients to the best poker sites Yeah definetly, do you run HEM or PT3 through the VirtualBox? I'm familiar with that program and i am thinking of, when i get a copy of Windows7, having only Linux Mint on my computer and running W7 through the VirtualBox as all i'm not a gamer and only use Windows for poker use. With osalt and sourceforge there really is no need to have windows for anything else but as i am a noob linux user i don't really understand yet how HEM or PT would work as they obv use PostgresSQL and i'm not sure if that would work with a virtual machine
