I'm going to go to Merge aswell. I just played in a freeroll today on Bovada, was doing well and then the tournament got cancelled. They wrote me saying I would get my money back, well it was a freeroll!!!! When will I get the hour of my life I wasted back? Bovada's customer service also seems to be lacking compared to bodog. There reply was pretty much oh well...

@jimmi click player admin at the bottom of the client to pull up the websight. Under the my account tab on the left click play money. Then convert 250 play money to a step 1 ticket. max of 10 per day, but each merge site is seperate so thats a lot of options!

thats neat I didnt know you could build them up, I dont get a lot of table time these days so the less I have to play those bingo rounds the better. |

Our problems are withdrawals more than deposits. America's Card Room (Yatahay network) is also an option, but we have yet to have a post about withdrawing funds....there is one around here with the regulations involved, but no actual experiences. It is a smaller network than either Merge or Cake, but it has the best feeling tables and action (apparently this is IMHO only).

I played in a freeroll last night and finished in the final 25 and got a ticket to the new year day 150.00 entry. There is going to be a lot of dead money in this tourney so it probably will play a little wierd due to the number of free entries. The site must be eating up a lot of memory because I have been getting holdups on my screen when I am in a big tourney at Bovada. I think that employing a big pot strategy at Bovada cash games is about the only way you can win there, but you are going to be doing a lot of folding with no way to get reads.

Bovada has a terrible HUD and annoynmous players, but it offers a sportsbook which is great and even better it does a free payout ever month. Carbon charges 15 bucks per payout and im pretty sure there is no deposit fee (using credit card/Visa.) I am leaving Bovada as well, its just not a poker dedicated site. It has to much going on with its large casino, sportsbook, and horse races...Its poker download is lacking way to many features. I will use Bovada for my sportsbook tho; Its the best online with no contenders! Is there a fee for Carbon when using your Visa? If so that a huge downfall since a withdrawl minimum is 100 bucks with a 15 dollar fee......

After 6 years of being a faithful Bodogger, I finally have said goodbye forever. I am currently playing on Carbon. I had to deposit using WU bc they (or maybe my bank) won't accept a Visa transaction. After a week, I am about 20% ahead. Keep on grinding. I think I'm gonna like it here, I just hope the DOJ doesn't have any more tricks up their sleeve. Good luck and maybe I'll see you over at Carbon.

I just signed-up with Carbon a couple of weeks ago to try them out. I haven't played at all since Black Friday, so I'm glad just to get back in the game in any form. My VISA worked just fine for making a deposit. A little concerned, though, about when it comes time for a cash-out. From what I've been reading, they aren't exactly known for their speedy payouts. My initial impressions of the site so far are pretty meh. Its OK, I guess and it gets me playing poker again. I actually plan on depositing a small amout on Bodog (or whatever they are calling themselves these days) and Cake as well and comparing all the sites.

I lasted about 11 minutes, which was 3 hands on the lag slow mo table. I got into a massive pot by flopping flushdraw and checkraising then getting called by a set. I turn the flush and get it allin and they river the boat. I won the ticket in the Saturday mega satellite last week. At least 2012 poker is all uphill from here. I don't care to play for the $30 cash bonus via 100 points either. I'm sick of online poker and the shady cashout options. Why risk playing when its tough to withdraw and the hands go by slowly even 4 tabling Bovada?
