It is instances such as these, along with the folks who steal from family accounts (why banks are not allowed to handle online transactions in the States), which fueled the fire on Capitol Hill for the anti-online poker legislation. Thank goodness the sites are policing themselves, as the casinos do the live action.

U.B seems like they are trying. They didn't have to come out with this stuff. They could have been more vague or just said nothing. Seems like they care about online poker. (But I could be wrong. )

Maybe so. What they clearly do care about is that they (the current management) have also been cheated because they bought the Company unaware that there were these problems already going on.

This couldn't be further from the truth. The US banks handle all kinds of transactions online. The gambling bans are nothing more than the "religious right" trying to legislate morality.

I have made several deposits at Ultimatebet-PokerStars-and FT! Most of them through my debit card/checking account. ALL with no problems! Not until now!! I bought 3 of those "Pre-paid " Visa debit/credit cards for the express purpose of managing my poker/gambeling "addiction" so's I wouldn't have to touch my bank account, and NOT A ONE of them were accepted as payment for deposits at ANY Poker site, Carbon Poker included! NOW I'm stuck with these cards to BUY things with at regular stores!!

Funny thing - the thing that works best for me is the thing that's supposedly illegal: direct transfers from my bank account using the eCheck method.
