Kudo's to Bodog support

Hard Drive crash --> loss of all poker software and account #'s and passwords etc --> hours of frustration with email based supports at all other sites, and probable account violations down the road because I probably spelled my name wrong and it will haunt me that they think I am a double accounter.

Today I reloaded BODOG, and actually had a phone number to call and real live people to talk to! Total of maybe 5 minutes ??? easy, pleasant English speaking Costa Ricans, (as opposed to pleasant 'almost' English speaking Indians). It was about 68'F in Costa Rica as we talked.

Problems resolved, and it was a zero stress situation.

Very very happy about this.

If I had any money I'd deposit it at bodog just because of this fact.

Yes, I have called their support as well, it is excellent.
They are also great by email.

In my opinion they are superb in the Customer Service area. And very very fast payouts via check. I just wish you could have more than 4 tables up at a time. Some recent updates to the software have made it less laggy too. Sorry about the HDD crash but glad they could help you.

They gave me a free seat to the $100K Guarantee tourney but I didn't get the e-mail until it was too late a couple weeks ago.

I agree absolutely. They are the best so far. I talked to a guy in Canada though. He helped me get a hundred dollar bonus that got lost.

Damn DJ, that's really tough. I know it ain't funny, but this will probably wind up like dealing with the IRS for ya.

Bodog is far superior in customer service than any site I've ever dealt with, which is at least 7 of them. (Only Poker Stars could even touch them if they had phone support, but they don't.) I've called them maybe a handful of times in 4 years. Each time, I got someone that 1) answered the phone right away, never a wait or on hold, 2) patiently listened to your problem, and 3) resolved it quickly. They've all spoken perfect English, friendly, and sounded fairly intelligent.

Most recent example a month ago... In the $500 freeroll, I was chatting with someone. Right after I busted, I hit the enter key to send a chat. I didn't hit the 'yes' for the rebuy that popped up. But the stupid software 'rebought' me - not customer service's fault. You have to specially say 'no' or close the popup I guess. Then in the chat, I said 'crap, I didn't rebuy' yada yada. When I called them, they looked into the chat session, saw that I'd been talking to this guy awhile, and refunded my $1 instantly. And agreed, the software is not freezing up like before.

After dealing with the idiots at Players Only (Merge) last week, who couldn't even explain in 1 hour how my (previously existing) screen name was already in use, you really come to appreciate an outfit like Bodog. Another thing, they don't try to nickel and dime you by requiring you to deposit in order to chat after you bust, like those greedy bastards at UB.

totally agree that bodog has the best customer serv. have had to use them a few times and taken care of without a hitch.

I've never played a Bodog. Seems like they have nice customer service though.

I've dealt with Bodog and have been very impressed with the quickness and thoroughness of their support. I asked some pretty dumb questions early on (newbee), and they always treated me like a VIP.

Come on dj how hard is it to spell dj.....

Party Poker also have a phone No to contact them on and it is Toll Free, but the only drawback is that they are like you mentiond dj english speaking Indians that can be hard to understand sometimes.
