I was playing a $5 SNG at Noble tonight. Being the short stack of three, I went all in with A-9. I get called by a player with A-2. The flop: pure rags. Then ... runner runner. Turn is 2, river is 2, see ya ...

That definitely sucks. Depending on just how short stacked you were, and how fast the blinds were, it was probably the right play; especially if they were suited. However, given your choice in avatars

Have sympathy on me. My team has one of the best records in baseball, yet might be lucky to limp into the playoffs. lol
