merge basically eliminated a ton of games, added long late reg periods, decreased guarantees, eliminated all realistic promotions, etc etc

possible they fenced out of lock, intertops doesn't have big mtts anymore it's all standalone i believe

Most likely this, but it isn't them being fenced off by Lock or the network, it's them fencing themselves off. At least with Intertops; I can't speak for Juicy but being on Revolution also, that would be my guess.

They were forced to segregate themselves and remove guaranteed MTTs >$1000 and some of the higher stakes games because Lock hasn't been paying the network for Lock's players' losses (much like they haven't been paying out players very timely, either). So the other skins aren't getting paid for the money that now sits in their players' accounts and are responsible for paying to the player, yet they still have to pay the network for *their* players' losses. And Lock presumably gets away with this because they own a sizable chunk of Revolution -- if it were any other skin, or a Merge skin, they would have been booted off the network by now.

As a result, player liquidity is dropping and MTT overlays are the rule rather than the norm, which is causing the skins to bleed money. So they were cut or eliminated.

Intertops has said they're working on some bigger tournaments for their players. Not sure if it's possible to include other skins while excluding Lock (that's likely something only the network could do, and won't for obvious reasons), but if they can then that's probably in the works too. Also I don't think the smaller stakes games and SNGs are segregated.

Thanks for the info, my tickets seem to be gone also, and the public freerolls aren't showing. Hopefully it is just some kind of bug, they had a software update last night.

That sounds exactly like Intertops' elimination of $1K+ tourneys due to the issues I mentioned above.

I just logged into Intertops. FWIW the whole network has been up and down over the past few days, including today. They've had some major datacenter issues, and I believe one of the reps (Intertops? can't remember) mentioned some ongoing downtime as they work to permanently resolve whatever issues they've been having.

Why would any of you still have money on Juicy? I sold everything I had on that site 9 months ago at .70/$1. The situation with the cashouts being cancelled is clearly a horrible sign and it sounds like Juicy may be shutting its door soon. Good luck to those who have any sort of meaningful money on Juicy, as it doesn't look promising.

here it is:

For a while now Juicy Stakes has been considering ways of improving its customers‘ all-round gaming experience, as well as our site‘s processing procedures. It has been proven to be a harder task than expected, but we have now found a solution in Zagox Management N.V., a company licensed in Curacao.

Zagox Management N.V., a serious partner for all types of online gaming, has acquired Juicy Stakes and will run the business with immediate effect. They are also determined to prove their commitment to you and all Juicy Stakes players, providing the service and support that everyone deserves.

As a result of the new ownership and the new systems that have been put into place, these following changes have had to be implemented:

All pending cash-outs for players had to be cancelled and have to be requested again. But don‘t worry - all cash-outs will be processed as players request them and in accordance with timeframes given in the Juicy Stakes cashier!

All pending bonuses currently running on players‘ accounts have had to be cancelled. At the start of next week there will be a reload promotion that everyone will be entitled to use.

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but stress that these changes will allow us to start paying your winnings in a very timely manner, thus improving your gaming experience at Juicy Stakes!

Guessing this is the best possible outcome, but they made no mention of where all the tourney tickets went

As suspected, although it isn't mentioned in the Juicy message above, Intertops and Juicy are joining their player pools but will remain segregated from the rest of the network. Which should help with the poor player liquidity they've both had over the last couple months. Here's the email sent out this morning from Intertops:

Dear David,

ever since Intertops accepted the world’s first ever online sports bet in 1996 we have built a reputation as a dependable and serious partner for all types of online gaming. We can already look back upon a long tradition of integrity and satisfied customers around the world.

We have always been determined to keep our reputation and to continue providing our customers with the service and support that they deserve. Furthermore, we want to be able to continue to guarantee our players their funds and remain one of the most trusted and safe places to play.

In order to achieve the above we were forced, due to circumstances beyond our control, to make some changes to our segregation about 8 weeks ago.

Since then we have been working very hard to find solutions to be able to ease up on the segregation towards other partners on the network.

To safeguard the Intertops future business and to start to create a healthy and stable environment for our customers we have decided to share our player pool with Juicy Stakes. A step in the right direction is to have a closer communication with the other network partners and with this in mind we can now announce that the Network has opened up all the tables between Intertops Poker and Juicy Stakes.

So what kind of segregation is in place now? For Intertops the following applies:

Cash Games:
  • Intertops players can play ALL Juicy Stakes players on ALL stakes.
  • All stakes above Holdem NL $0.5/$1 are segregated from the rest of the network
  • All stakes above Holdem PL $0.05/$0.1 are segregated from the rest of the network
  • All stakes above Holdem FL $1/$2 are segregated from the rest of the network
  • All stakes above Omaha PL $0.05/$0.1 are segregated from the rest of the network
  • All stakes above Omaha FL $0.25/$0.5 are segregated from the rest of the network
  • All stakes above Omaha Hi/Lo NL $0.25/$0.5 are segregated from the rest of the network
  • All stakes above Omaha Hi/Lo PL $0.05/$0.1 are segregated from the rest of the network
  • All stakes above Omaha Hi/Lo FL $0.25/$0.5 are segregated from the rest of the network
Sit n Go’s:
  • Intertops players can play all Juicy Stakes players on all stakes.
  • All Sit n Gos above a $20 buy-in are segregated from the rest of the network; this also includes the double up SnGs.
MTT’s:

From now on Intertops and Juicy Stakes will have their own tournament schedule. We will follow the development and hopefully we can add more tournaments in the future.
For the next 4 days we have set up daily $1,000 Freerolls for our customers, accessible only with the following codes:

<...freeroll schedule...>

Registration for this Freerolls will be enabled one hour before the tournament starts.

It is important for you to keep in mind that we are in this for the long-run and we will not abandon our players! This will allow us to continue paying your winnings in a very timely manner as we have been doing for the past 17 years!

David, should you need anything regarding your account at Intertops, our products or special offers, please do not hesitate to contact us 24/7:

Certainly is the best possible outcome... for Lock/Cake and Juicy and from a criminal point of view... well played!

In recent weeks we've seen:
* Revolutions ownership changing from lock's Cipaco NV to Juicy Stakes
* Cake re-branding to WinCake also cutting their ties to Revolution
* Now Juicy being sold to Zagox whom nobody ever heard of.

So obvious and if it wasn't so sad almost brilliant. Best scam since black friday.

Only question that really remains is "where is all the player funds that have been flowing to Revolution from Mucho, PIV, Play2B, Lock and all them other shady or not to smart operators?

In recent weeks we've seen:
* Revolutions ownership changing from lock's Cipaco NV to Juicy Stakes
Lock never owned Revolution. Ownership never changed despite all the hype. Lock *tried* to buy them out but apparently could only get a percentage. This went unannounced of course but was eventually uncovered and reported.

Pokerscout reports Revolutions owner/operator as Juicy Stakes Games Ltd. So the more interesting question would be, does Zagox now own Revolution?
