| Info on CARBON/MERGE RNG I chatted with Carbon support seeking to find out how their RPG works. Do they set the deck prior to shuffle like PokerStars, or is it a continuous random shuffle you wait a second and you get a different card? It's an especially interesting question since they have the rabbit feature. If you'd played out a hand, does the rabbit REALLY show what the turn and river would have been? I got an e-mail response back, and the answer is: continuous random. Rabbiting is silly anyway, but this makes it especially worthless, since the rabbit is not even remotely accurate. Here's the e-mail: Dear Customer, Cards are randomly generated as they are dealt, and not pre-generated at the beginning of each hand. This may lead you to believe that the rabbit feature is meaningless, but it was never intended to have that manner of influence since the outcome of the game would already have been decided. It only serves to provide an additional element of fun for triumphant players to taunt other players in the case of a successful bluff, as an example. Should you require further assistance or information, please reply to this message. Sincerely, CS Donovan |
