I haven't really played on Bogdog. But i know about Everest.
The cash games are very easy and can be profitable in the lower limits. I don't like the tournaments as (1) You only start with 1000 chips (2) Not many people enter them so the payouts are very low When i win enoth money in the cash games i am changing sites as i lke to play tounaments |

I don't know about Everest, but I feel Bodog would be a hard site for someone who is starting with a low bankroll. They don't have too many low stakes buy-in SNGs(or MTTs for that matter) and when they do have them, it takes a long time to fill up. The lowest regular 1 table SNG is $3+.30. The only thing that is nice for the low stakes players is that they have beginner SNGs, which pay out 50%, although it makes the prize payouts lower, it helps the beginner. As far as cash games... although they are very easy, their lowest buy-in is 10NL, which again, makes it hard for someone with a low bankroll, unless they are completely throwing BR management out the window.
I would say your best bet for signing up for a new site would be to go to one of the big 3, PokerStars, FullTilt, or UltimateBet. Not sure what your reason for wanting to go to either Bodog or Everest were, but the other ones would probably be better for a lower stakes player. Good luck. |

I hate the software of everest. Those sounds when you fold or muck your cards. And the sound of the chips is also really annoying. I have a hard time playing there cause i'm used to fulltilt software. But the micro cashgames and sng's on everest are easy though. The players on that site are terrible and call almost with anything.

I like bodog, I haven't had any luck there yet, though I haven't had any luck at fulltilt either...but I agree about it being a hard site to beat if you plan on grinding your way up from low stakes, considering there is no microstakes really.
