You mean a poker account, like on Full Tilt or Pokerstars? The answer is no. There is no exclusion due to a long period of inactivity. They are concerned about a single account being associated with a single player.

re: inactive account poker suit2please & SavagePenguin are absolutely correct. I had started playing online poker in late 2006, then went on a 2.5 yr sabbatical (auto vs pedestrian accident, I was the pedestrian & the auto = Ford Explorer). When I returned I assumed the accts were disabled due to such a lengthy inactivity period & registered under a new user id. Then I read a 'complaint' @ another site about someone not being able to cash out their winnings because it appeared thay had multiple accts . I contacted the Support of all the poker sites I had recently (re)registered for & explained my situation; all the poker sites were very helpful getting everything straightened out, within 48 hrs. Full Tilt & PokerStars required reinstating my original user id & deactivating my new user id. Absolute Poker & Ultimate Bet deactivated my original id & allowed me to keep my new user id. I no longer had access to the e-Mail acct I had originally registered under but they were able to validate their records against the info I provided as to what it was. I had also moved & provided my prior addr which they also verified. Additionally it was helpful that my original user id is a deviation of my name. Plus there weren't any funds in the accts (or a minimal amt, >$10) since I was a freeroll player when I initially started out.

It’s been a while since we last saw you at the Pokertime tables. Thought I would just let you know that you currently have $1000 in your Poker Account. Unfortunately, as per our Dormant Account Policy, if your Account is not used before Wednesday 25th of February 2009, any unused amount will be forfeited. thievin *)*_+)***

re: inactive account poker Before they kicked out Americans, Party Poker used to deduct some small amount from any inactive account (I forget the exact amounts and frequency)...so in effect if you were inactive long enough you lost all your bankroll. Don't know if they still did this after about 2005, cause as soon as I was aware of that policy, I couldn't get out the door fast enough. Luckily Neteller was still in operation so it was easy to get OUT.
