Hey CardKiler18 sent you a pm, I understand how you feel. Suckouts happen. It really doesn't matter the site suckouts happen. If you play with in your bankroll you will never have trouble with variance.
Wish you all the best good luck will come just hang in there. |

Being from the Netherlands, we USA folk probably should not be the ones you seek answers from. We do have several tons of British players and probably a few tons of other players who will be more worldly than US centric.

Hi, just checked your stats and you are way ABOVE average in terms of ROI, and ITM. Based on other players comparisons using Pokertraker, the RNG (random number generator - that determines the cards) for all the bigger sites including Pokerstars is pretty legit. Another good site is Fulltilt, but if it aint broke, don't fix it. BTW congrats on finishing 1st in a field of 1450 players.

Full Tilt ....The poker there is so great...
Full Tilt is as close to the live game that I have found. I see the best hand
holding up a lot more.. you don't get suckered an "unusual" amount of times ! The beauty of Full Tilt for me is that its rng is so pure and therefore you can actually learn and improve your game. The interface is primo w/ stats analysis and a scrollable last hand graphic window which can display every hand played. I prefer to play w/o an avatar..they let their pros design their own..which would be cool for the rest of us someday . Full Tilt has the largest Pro endorsement deal in Poker..the best of the best play there..When Chris "Jesus" Ferguson won the 2008 National heads Up Poker Championship, he credited his game to all the tuning up that he did online..The player he defeated, Andy Bloch, also is a Full Tilt Pro. Lastly...when I take a bad beat, I find myself NOT cussing the site but my own piss poor play! The poker there is so great.... |

I had my Aces cracked twice in only 3 sessions at Circus Circus in Reno. Should I stop playing there? Hell no! I love that place. |

Suck outs are caused by players, not by the room and their RNG. While you may find a different overall level of play at any given room compared to another, it's not because of the shuffle. And BTW I would agree on the Cake comment about the money to be made there, at least at SportsBook.com's Cake skin. I made $200 on a $50 deposit in two nights playing 25NL there, when I could barely tread water at those limits on PokerStars. Wish I had gotten in on a rakeback deal, but then again I signed up for the free Holdem Indicator license. |

Just my 2 cents
if u get bad beat YOU didnt do anything wrong a bad beat means YOU played your hand correctly you got the money in with the best cards and the other person just got lucky. SOO technically the more bad beats you get the better you are as a player because that means you are playing alot better than the other guy and eventually it will pay off. So as the other guy stated stay within your budget and keep the bad beats coming. I don't remember the pro that said it but one said "Every time you get a bad beat congratulate yourself because that is ONE hand you played perfectly" |

The fact that you prefer FT better is perfectly fine, lots of people here play both I'm sure, and all likely prefer one over the other. Personal preference and all that, and nobody is putting you down for your preference. If I may speak for everyone else, the problem people had with your comments were more with how you attempted to justify your choice. It frankly made no sense.

Defensive?
David...oh boy
You have posted 37 times since joining May 27,2008. You are quite an authority on things aren't you? "I have Vista running on 3 of my PC's and have zero issues with any of them, but I configured Vista properly from the get-go." I read this post and another about you changing your Pokerstars skin ...before almost puking.... What arrogance.. These are the parts of my post that you and a couple of others could you not make sense of: I broke it down piece by piece: (1) realistic gameplay..excellent rng..and yes there are different ones and they are not all equal! (2) great graphic interface (3) advanced features such as scrolling thru previous tables played (4) statistical analysis of hands played (5) A favorite of the pros Must be lonely in your world of expertise. |

In fact, you know what? I AM an authority on a few things. But poker certainly isn't one of them, nor have I ever claimed it to be. However when you spout stupidity about RNG's having to do with your suck out ratio, then you're treading in an area where I would venture a guess at having you beaten, so don't even go there. Also, maturity, common courtesy, and the ability to form coherent arguments are areas where you also seem to be "sucked out" on as well. Perhaps God's RNG shorted you on those too? The fact that everyone else in this thread disagreed with you, and several LOLed at your comments, while I tried to reasonably point out a gaping hole in your argument, would seem to support the notion that you are wrong. Period. You don't need my arrogance, authority, or my expertise to prove that. And with that, I'm done with you, troll. |

4 da authority
You are so predictably dumb.. your mind must be totally totally stuck on whacked!
There are hundreds of viewers of the original post which was started by "cardkiller 18" looking for a new site. A few at most disagreed with my post which is not remotely close to your BS...... "The fact that everyone else in this thread disagreed with you" . This is not an exclusive Pokerstars thread..and you're not the forum moderator...just some creep looking to try to impress with what little you really know. To turn around somebody's original statement of "Full Tilt is as close to the live game that I have found. I see the best hand holding up a lot more.. you don't get suckered an "unusual" amount of times" into how I "spout stupidity about RNG's having to do with your suck out ratio" and how "God's RNG shorted you on those too?" is a big leap...except for a nit like you. I gave only my opinion about the quality of play at Full Tilt, based totally on my personal experience.. This was not a slam directed at Pokerstars... Ultimate Bet gets that honor above all, except maybe for the likes of a moron like you... |
