I have questions regarding Casinos inside Carnival Cruises Hello. It's been a while since I've made a thread on this site. I have a question to ask. I'm planning to go on a cruise in October or November. I'll be taking Carnival Cruiseline. They have casinos inside. I heard that their poker tables are electronic. It would be fun to check it out. But I was wondering if anyone here has been on a Carnival Cruise and played poker. If yes, what stakes do they offer? I know that this place is gonna be filled with fishes because almost everyone's here for vacation. I doubt there will be grinders on this cruise, hence becoming a soft game. It would be nice if people who have been on the cruise and played poker can explain their experiences. TY.

I have been on several Carnival cruises. They have one electronic table. It has always been set to no limit, I think the blinds were 50 cent one. Yes there are fishes, they come and go quickly. and there are always two or three pros who are at the table full time. You will have trouble getting a seat in the evening. There is no oversite, when someone gets up you have to be able to grab the seat. You can try complaining that you waiting the longest, may or may not work. I like the electronic table. You don't have to tip the dealer. I am not a great no limit player, I usually just break even which I consider a success.

I have not been on Carnival but the last one I was on in April was on Princess cruise. Every day Thru the afternoon or early evening depending when they are at sea they would have a SNG tourney. These were $60.00 buy ins and paid top 2 only. 9 players. At evening time they would open tables up for cash games. They would be NL 1/2 $. Same regs would be there every night...good luck have fun and have some good BRM...its so easy for some to slip your cruise card in the machine. Oh yeah casino open only when ship at sea.
