For a 500.00 freeroll to witch i would have to put money in to play in?, Can anyone tell me why they would send it to me even tho i lost all the play money they gave me....
i guess what i am asking is how did i get an invitation Only game??????

PokerStars does the same thing as Ultimatebet--They BOTH will invite you to games and hope you will see how much more fun it is to play for money! AND PS will also give you $5 in about 3-4 weeks to test the waters with! I never question FREE money! Just go play and GL! And NO, it doesn't cost you anything!

I don't recall getting an email myself for a freeroll where you have to put money in to play, but I recently got an email to their $500 Ceres Invitation tourneys. I asked a friend of mine who also has an account with PokerStars and opened it up around the same time, but he didn't get this email. I placed in the money fairly easily if I recall - the number of players registered were a lot smaller too, less than 900 I think.

So if anything, be sure to carefully look over these emails since not all of them will be for those who make a deposit.

It's prolly a freeroll with cash rebuys, quite a few sites have them usually for small stakes.

Don't count on it for anything other than a nice opportunity to build a br from nothing. If you are not ready to deposit yet, don't!

I am reminded about the FT $75 giveaway that was tied to clearing the bonus that they did early this year. I might have cleared $7.50 of it, but it probably cost me $25 to do so.

These guys are experts at figuring out ways to get your money, ALL OF YOUR MONEY!

Best approach imo, is to act as if it never happened, join the game you are invited to if it doesn't cost you anything and then deposit, if necessary, when YOU think it is the right time to do so.

Agree with above, can cost alot more to earn bonuses than bonuses are worth if your favourite game isnt cash games, although alot of site now give points for tournaments and sit n gos, but if you are new to the game the time restrictions are a real pain

To all that may have not gotten this it is for real money and is a a free one to a $500 Ceres Invitation tourneys.... Witch to i was keeping en eye in my email for one from UB and saw one from PS.
You also need to keep en eye in your junk mail for it.
Yeah i need to reload the play money lost it all found a good player on PS and got my butt kicked LOL I tho he was bluffing and he was not

I like cash game, sit & gos and MTTs.... I like the skill it takes in all of them..

no this is a private game and is under the private tournament tab, it is this weekend to 2 games time is 18:00...

They're not out to get all your $$$. Someone's maybe, but not YOURS in particular. They would just as soon you take the $5 and build it up to $10,000.

sit & gos i have no problem with and i like them... They seam like they are easier then MTTs.
I did a sit & go in about 10 mins and won it i even took out the chip leader in 2 hands.

Two months ago something i got 10 dollars from pokerstars into my account.Checked up the history and it only said promotion.i dont know what i got them for.Got 5 dollar like that like 1 year ago too.And didnt even get a e-mail saying i got them..but like someone said before me.i dont complain about free money

It's not a freeroll if you have to put money into it.

no it was an inviation only game, you had to get an invite from pokerstars...
well the first one i did 115 out of 800 some
2nd one i did 102 out of 800 some...
And i did not see any donkeys in it, but dam that was hard and fun i did some all-ins on some hands and won, the hands were AJ 22 87.
tho i missed the money 81st and up was paying.
