'IT' depends (fashion statement for elders???).

Sometimes I can play many games, 4 fit nicely on my screen, with no problems. Other times I can barely concentrate on one.

If there is anything real at stake, I will only play one game at a time. Sometimes I might watch another game.

i play 3 pretty much all the time unless deep in a tourny.

The more tables u play the less u will notice about other players and so ure game will suffer a little bit but if u can pick up the skill u will be able to make more profits.

If you cannot do more thn one at the moment dont try just stick with onr untill u are comfortable with more

I play two most of the time but i feel more comfortable playing only one. That way i can watch how the other players are playing their cards. Better for me in the long run. I will be playing two tables tonight. When i have played two at once i have made the finale tables. It's not to bad. No more than that though for me.

whatever works for you and what your comfortable playing. everyone has different styles and approaches to the game. Some people can play 10 tables+ mixed games with mixed # of players or some full some HU. I dont think i could ever do that and having to click my mouse every split sec for hours isnt something i care to do anyways.

I know if im playing cash tables i like to play 2 or 3 any more and my game falls off. 1 table just not enough action, i get bored and play too many hands poorly. 2 or 3 has worked out best for me so far. I just make better decisions and i am still able to pick up the things players are doin in specific situations, even in hands im not involved in. When playing more you pretty much start playing your cards only and not paying attention to your opponents. Your also only able to see hands that you are playing and could easily miss out on important information from a previosu hand between other players.

In 9 player sit n gos though i will play anywhere from 4-10 and not really feel like my play has been affected. i think if i played less at a time i might profit at a higher percentage but only by a small margin. say i play 2 sit n gos with a 50% profit or 8 with profits of 25%. i would make twice as much playing 8.

I agree with the consensus. Sometimes when I'm just online messing around with some fake chips or whatever, I might be paying half attention and playing 2 or 3 tables at a time, still bringing in chips. However, at other times, when certain hands become dicier, it gets harder to remain focused on multiple games. Also, like mentioned above, I would only play one table if I had real money on a game. I don't have real money, which seems to present a problem in that field, but it's a hypothetical situation.

It depends how I feel like. I play between 1-4 tables.

For me, it actually depends on the site. On sites with slower software like FTP, I can do 4. On sites with fast software like Ultimatebet, I only do 2.

My Record Is 11 @ Once

On Ultimatebet i can play 11 tbls @ once. On FTP i can play 8. The other sites that you can't downsize the screen i can only play up to 5. People think i'm playing on more than 1 pc when i tell them or they see me playing 11 tbls lol. They really can't believe it.

I usually play 1-5 tables at once on Ultimatebet because u can use the mini view which is really helpful because you can play multiple tables without any overlaps.

By the way has anyone seen the clip on youtube of some guy multitabling 0ver 20 tables at once, that was some crazy shi*. ill see if i can post the link.

I got myself in a heck of trouble by playing the maximum number of micro-tables at once at Ultimate Bet the other week. My stats were caught by their software and they thought i was a bot. The max last week was nine tables unless thats changed recently. Now I don't recommend this to anyone. No problem if ya folding a lot but if two tables have good action at the same time, things can get out of control. Folded the nutz more than once by accident and "all-inned " the crap hand instead.

If I am playing serious poker I can only pay attention to two tables at a time.

Generally I will limit myself to 2 to 3 games at a time. I never play more than 3 at a time.I have tried to play more but it's hard to concentrate.

re: How many tables do you play at once

I too find it hard to play more than 1 table at a time. Although i can play more than 1 ring game table at once, i prefer to just stick to 1 table at a time... I think it all depends on how comfortable you feel with more than 1 table open. It makes it harder to concentrate on certain players and observe how they play

Yes, i've been acused of that b4 & like i also said they think i might be playing on more than 1 computer. Ultimatebet has the best mini view tbls i think of all the sites & i can seriously play 11. I do fold a lot & stick to being a "card" player instead of a "poker" player when i'm on that many but i can do it. I'm gonna get carpal tunnel from all that clicking one of these days though hehehe.

2 tables, it makes it easier to fold junk hands and wait for the big ones

I think the more tables you play you play tighter and won't make any loose calls on rags.

i like playing 2 tables but if i'm deep in a tourny its only 1 table, i like to play 2 at once because of some of the reasons previously stated but it keeps me for getting to bored when i hit a dry run of cards. and now with the PAD and WSOP sng fr i play those just to make the loose calls i wouldn't normally make (helps to get some emotions out =P) and they start every couple of mins which makes them a great stress reliever =)
