How do US players keep Pokerstars.com version?

Some US players still have the .com version and some others, had to download the .net version. I have heard mentioned, of Pokerstars emailing a zip file or install file, so you can still continue to use the .com version. I would like to know, cause after 4 yrs of playing, I get a message saying I have to re-download the software and it's the .net version. I like the features of the .com one ( player search , cashier and having an avatar). I know I can't play for real money. If this file exists out there somewhere, can someone email it somehow? Not real computer savvy. I would appreciate and help on this, going out of my mind.....I hate change!

Before I download this will there be a way for me to make a deposit since I am an American? I dont want to waste the time if not cuz it will just tease and disappoint me

I was hoping for a cleverly constructed joke where both posts were the same (those who know me will know that I don't spam post); the first, because JSG's post was funny; the second, because asking if American players will be able to deposit on Stars is laughable.
I'm fairly confident that this won't go straight over everyone's head!

At the top of the forum pages, you'll see "Poker Bonuses"--click that and youll see that you can sign up for some of the Merge skins through CC, which is always a good thing to do.
