How do I rebuy on Poker Stars?

Playing a rebuy tourney there and many people did a rebuy right out of the gate. I can't figure out how to do it. Any help from you kind, knowledgeable folks?

well when you bust (if you bust, rather) it should give you the option of rebuying
usually a window pops up asking if you want to or not

Oh, I'll be busting very soon, thanks. Will definitely rebuy then.

Still not sure how people did rebuys before the tourney started.

I'm not sure about PokerStars, but on Paradise, you start out w/ 1500 chips in re-buy tourneys. If you have 1500 or less, you can re-buy at anytime. Some sites you have to bust out first. But it souds like PS may follow the same guidelines as Paradise. Maybe you were over the allowed limit?

We all had the same amount of starting chips, but several hundred people did rebuys before the tournament started. I didn't see a rebuy button anywhere.

When I did rebuy after busting out, I got 1,500 chips. Now I see people busting out and rebuying 3,000 chips. WTH??

weird
usually it's just if you bust out, you pay X dollars and get your starting chip amount back
rebuying before the tournament starts doesn't really make sense; what if you don't bust before the break?
i don't see the point of it and as for rebuying with 3000 chips im just lost as to why that happens
thats strange

OK, I asked at the table and some of the other players told me to click on the chips at the table. That's where the rebuy option is found anytime, not just when busting out.

People do this on Paradise all the time. I think they think it gives them an advantage. I for one only allow myself one re-buy if I bust out, and an add-on.

Pretty easy really. Do if you EVER play any ring games, its as simple as re-loading. Click on the chip stack on the top of your screen and select re-buy.
