Holland Casino

Any dutch ppl on here can tell me what the Holland Casino is like in Amsterdam for poker? Im thinking of going Amsterdam soon and wuddnt mind poppin into their casino for sum tournament poker. Plus i love playin poker while stoned and where else better to be high is in Amsterdam!!! During a break i can quickly run to a coffeeshop and blaze one up lol.

I don't know about poker since i don't play live but your wrong about amsterdam being the best place to get high....
They'll ripp you off in amsterdam! They sell crap to tourists and expensive too. A tourist will get way better shit for a cheaper price in other cities in the netherlands.

yeah amsterdam do over price sum of there stuff, eg: G13haze at barneys is a kanny wack. But me and my mate went to rotterdam for new years thats jus been and we found this mint coffeeshop which sold 20euros of quality green and the bag was huge too!!!
im not too botherd about the weed b-in too expensive or not the bee's knee's bcos money isnt a problem and its a nacker to get weed where i live so anythin that i can get in less than 5seconds is a bonus lol. PEACE!!!

I played at one of the 2 casinos in Amsterdam. I can't remember the name of it but it is across the street from an Irish pub.

The poker room is very small. Joe and I played 1 or 2 sng's there and both placed in the money - I think he chopped first and I took 3rd. It was fun and the people playing were fun.

We didn't play any cash games.

What you do to get better gear is stay away from any coffeeshops that participate in the Cannabis Cup for one, for two don't stop at any shop in the touristy areas of Amsterdam.

There are Amsterdam forums that will point you out to the best places to go, you can search for the forums or PM me and I'll send you a link to the one I consider best.

As for the casino I've never played poker there. Just roulette and other table games. I've also never really gambled while truly stoned, only with the effects of earlier smoking. I would think personally that if I gambled stoned I would prefer to eat it, the high is entirely different and lasts long enough to actually do something with it.
