High buy-in, large guarantee tournaments...

If you were going to instruct someone to try their hand at one of the following tournaments, which would it be...

*PokerStars Sunday Million
*FullTilt $750,000 Guarantee
*Bodog $100,000 Guarantee

I have no desire to try to make any kind of living off of poker. I am retired, and have just started playing for fun. I like to play in sattys to try to earn my way into other events. Of the three, which should I go for? Has anyone here ever played in any of them?

Never played in any of them (but i wanna!!!)
But i'd go for the Pokerstars Sunday Million as it has a great structure or the Pokerstars Sunday Warmup as it'll have less players in it.

Sunday Millions for sure I've played in this twice getting a little further the second time. It has a great structure. and i would say late in the tournament to go with instincts and not by the book LOL, the second time I got into it it was late in the tourny I'm sitting with about 78k in chips in the BB blinds are 1500/3000, UTG raises std to 9000 folds around to hijack seat who pushes all in for 18k folds to me and I have AK suited, well book says when faces with a early raise and a reraise only AA KK should be played so I folded UTG calls cards are flipped and UTG has KJ off and hijack has AQ suited, K hits flop and no other help for AQ. Had I went with my gut and called UTG probably just calls also and probably pushes the flop and I take down a monster because UTG had like 105 so that would have put me around 190k and very near the leaders at that point.

Definitely the PS Sunday Million. I play whenever I win a seat through a cheap satellite. It's deepstacked and a better quality of play after the first couple of hours. I cashed for over 1k in it once, I don't play it often but would play often if I were rolled for it.
