hi all... first post here... question on switching from PS to FT

Hi everyone. I've been reading the threads on this site for a couple weeks and I am really learning alot. I've been a PS player since I started and have built a decent bankroll playing mainly 25 NL. I am thinking about taking $600 from PS and creating a full tilt account to earn the bonus. With only 600 ill probably move to $10 NL. I was just wondering if clearing a $600 bonus in the time period allowed is feasible playing only $10 NL at, say, 3 tables at a time. If not, what is the best way to clear $600 without risking too much of my bankroll. How long should it take to clear? Should I just play $25 NL, which I have had great success at on PS? No I would not be taking my entire PS bankroll. I was just wondering if it is possible to play 10NL at FT 3 tables and be able to clear a $600 bonus in time.

I seriously doubt it, might be hard to do at 25nl. I know WVH has posted the hands it takes to clear bonus at 25nl at Tilt. I'll search for that info...

well im sure it can and has been done before....you say your playing 25 NL on Pokerstars....so i would imagine that after a couple weeks to a month you will eventually be playing at that level or higher on FT.

i think you should definately set a specific amount of time per day or per week that you want to spend on playing poker to make sure you clear that bonus.

Wow. So I'd have to play about 50000 hands at 25NL to clear $600. Don't know if I should even bother. I go to college and then work during the day so I only play a couple hours on weeknights, if that. I usually play all day either sat. or sun. I really don't think I can clear $600 in the time they allow. Thank you both for your responses. I'll keep reading these forums to try to better my game... want to get better at MTT's... made some FT's but never won a big one... hopefully its coming soon!
