Headsup Tourney

Was off today so I decided to play the $20 HU tourney at Absolute last night. I've railed a few of these and I knew this would be a 4 hour plus event. Kicked off at 7:30 PM and I finally took it down at 1:30 AM (38 players)

Not a bad return, made $305 for the $20 invested and the best part is I really worked on this part of my game. Been doing pretty well HU, but we can always do better.

Sadly, I don't have the patience to play in the huge tourneys as the inevitable donkfest gives me a headache. Given this, I have to choose carefully and pick the events that suit me and the time I have available - usually $10 or $20 SNGs.

BTW, name on Absolute is NGIB. If any of you old timers are interested, would like to trade $50 on Absolute for same on Stars. Stars doesn't like any of my credit cards so this is the only option I want to pursue at this point. Send me a PM if interested...

I wish I had a Absolute account available, I'd trade with ya. Sorry bout that. I'm sure someone on here will take you up on your offer.

Hi Buck,

The Neteller mess makes it difficult to use a variety of sites. That's the reason I'm trying to get a trade going. If I get a BR on Stars I may drop in on one of the events as it's been a long time. I would really like to hook up with Dorkus again as he owned me on Stars in the past (you did also Buck).

Thanks to Pokerrqueeen for getting me halfway to the goal...

Not even going into hiding for a year and getting karate kid-style poker training will help you, sir.

I haven't played in about a month, but I'm planning on making a triumphant (ahaha) return for the CC Spring Donkaments. You should join us! PM me if you can't get a transfer sorted, I'm sure we could sort out some sort of staking thingy.

(Would love to help with the transfer, but I don't have an Absolute account, nor do I intend to get one).

Actually young man, I've been training with my son to boost my aggressiveness a bit. I see an Omaha H/L event and I suppose I shall have to school you in the finer points of this fine game...

Nice job Dave! I love HU play, but I'm afraid I would get terribly bored after playing that long. Happy to hear you will be joining us in some games! Can't wait to take your hard-earned cash.
