Thanks. I wanted to bet the pot to guard the flush draw ( bumped it a few bucks accidentally) but it worked out just fine.

I hate AQ in a ring games. It a worthless hand that will make you go broke like that. He was probably thinking that only AK has him beat and he didnt put you on it or on AA. Your re raise pre flop should have let him know he didnt have the best and and he should have folded. It would have saved him some money.

Betting like that on just top pair and eventually losing is no one's fault but his own. Anyone who is smart would have folded knowing you had minimum 2 pairs or better, in your case it was better was trip rockets!!

Yeah but these are the juicy fish you want at your table.
