Have You Ever? OK here goes the other night playing in Champ of Champs tourney think the "Lady Luck Queen" hit me.LOL I've never had cards that just kept hitting like they did. Played a lot of poker through out the years have never had cards that good and they just kept coming. It was just unbelievable figure it's a once in a lifetime thing. lol I know that the next round could be routine nothing and I'm not complaining about it,but was just so strange to keep hitting like that. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Yes Shel, about three weeks ago got monster hands in live play, posted it here, but I don't think many believed me. Its hard to believe if ya dont see it for yourself. But its good when they come. The adrenalin rush is just( as ye americans say) awesome.

This past Monday in a tournament I got two monster hands in a row that ended up being an Ace High flush and a straight. Take advantage of these streaks and get as much chips as you can because it will go away anytime soon and then another streak will come, the steak of horrible starting hands.

Enjoy and make the most of it when it happens. Been a while for me though as I've been struggling with garbage and trying to steal blinds when I can. I haven't seen a pair of kings or aces in over a week and about a dozen SNGs...

re: Have You Ever? poker i never get aces, and when I do, I get sucked out on, I even play them ALL IN preflop and it always happens, somone with 78 suited puts a raise before me trying to buy the blinds and poof im all in then they just cant lay it down. Does anyone know why people love hands like 78, jt or kq. These have never been a all in hand preflop, for me. Why does everyone else in the world value these hands so much...

I snuck into the final table at an online tourney once. Shortest stack of the ten. I watched everyone take out each other until I was in the final two. I was down by about a 15:1 ratio, thinking "I can't believe I am going to get second place since I was so short stacked." Well, I am no pro at heads up play, but I got good hands for about 20 out of 25 hands and came all the way back to win. I imagine that the guy I beat was pissed beyond belief.
