| You will very seldom be asked for any additional ID by any poker room if you use Neteller, because Neteller is a secure ewallet system. You have to prove your identity to Neteller in order to be allowed to use their system in the first place and, therefore, if you deposit and withdraw using Neteller, the poker room know that you must be a genuine person. Poker rooms may ask for ID if you use other, less secure methods. |

I have had one poker room (FeltStars) ask me for additional ID when using Neteller. I spoke to a support guy and suggested to him it was a dumb request, because the checks they wanted to do were less stringent than Neteller`s and therefore a pointless duplication. He agreed, but said it was a company rule and not under his control. I suspect it was a delaying tactic, really. FeltStars are notoriously slow payers. |
