Happy hour

At least for now, it seems that full tilt is extending happy hour. I am glad as happy hour is one of the reasons I was able to fulfill one of my goals and order a semi-big item in the full tilt store on the chris ferguson challenge.

Happy hour right now is also 3x the points, which is also quite nice. I don't have rakeback yet, so accruing these FTP is pretty nifty.

Any suggestions on how best to spend them before my rakeback application goes through? I have a tiny roll at about $50 currently (also doing Ferguson challenge).

I dont think rakeback starts affecting bonus until your application is accepted. I don't think you have to spend them if you don't want to.

I believe though that if you use your points after getting accepted for rakeback the use of points affects your rakeback... so for example, if I use up 2000 ftp my rakeback will get cut by $x.xx for the week. This is what I've read, but have not experienced it so don't know exactly -- so it's better to use up all existing FTP before getting accepted for rakeback.

I've also heard that playing freerolls and guarantee MTT can cause dings in rakeback as well, as Full Tilt will recuperate costs for these by dipping into rakeback.

how long will the 3X be running? im assuming until midnight. any chance it will run longer?

Yes, every point you use charges a half cent against your rake back. So in your example if you used 2k FPP's it would cost $10 against your rakeback.

I believe it is actually a half cent against rake. So if you used 2k FTP's, It would cost you $2.70 rakeback(at 27% of course).

I thought it was a you stated it until I ordered book at 8k FTP's or so and only cost me about $11 RB. Good thing too cause the book retails for $25 lol.
