| Hand order & betting strategies Here is the order of starting hands. AA KK QQ JJ AK(s) TT AQ(s) AJ(s) KQ(s) AK 99 KT(s) QJ(s) KJ(s) AT(s) AQ A9(s) KQ QT(s) JT(s) 88 K9(s) T9(s) A8(s) I don't seem to do well with pocket Aces sometimes, but I think it has to do more with your betting strategy. High poket pairs are extremely profitable, if you drive out most players pre-flop. In hands where only two people remain before the flop, you can expect to win with AA ~67% of the time. With 9 players remaining before the flop your chances drop to about ~20%. The amout needed to drive out most players, but keep one or two depends on the table. if it's a tight table, double the blind. If it's a loose table sometimes two or more will call all in. GL all This is a repost, but thought folks might get some use out of it. |
