Going to play 1/2 NL at casino right now :)

Kinda stoked. I'm going down to the Thunder Bay Casino right now to play some 1/2 NL.

There's a 50BB ($100) max to buyin which seems kinda strange but should be fun. I'm going to bring $300 and hope to tear a hole in the place.

I'll post later with hopefully good results.

Good luck. That is kinda odd, usually the max is 200 or 300. Don't play scared early because that's an easy ticket to slowly grind your stack down.

I came home early after losing a buyin, there was only one table left when i got there with 8 out of 10 people sitting.

I sat down and bought in for the full 100. I played super tight the first two or three rounds of blinds... That chipped me down a little bit. Wasn't getting anything worth playing.

Finally i was on the button with A10o
First to act, I raised to $8. SB called, BB folded.
Flop came -----6h, Kd, 8s
SB checked, I bet $12, he calls.
Turn came -----2c
He checks, I check
River brought a J

He shoves, I fold and he shows his A9o bluff...

Later on, I'm CO with 88

Two limpers, MP raises to 10, I shove with only 48 bucks left.
He thinks for a bit then calls with AQo

Flop came with Kxx, then runnered his straight.


I didn't want to rebuy at this point because there were only 5 people left at the table.

Either way, I had fun. Everyone was having a good time and pretty talkative. I felt like reloading but figured I was better off to save my money for another night when its a little more filled up.

Ah well, Next time.

I like playing at the casino, although I only have once. Ran really terrible but it was still fun.

Actually going back in 3 weeks so im pumped about that
