playin on a site called wsex poker---- in a 2/4$ blind table im in a showdown- i have pocket 2's-- flop comes 2 2 4 turn is a 4 and the riv is a 4.. i go all in for 250 bucks and get called. guy has the flippin four in his hand....yikes

gelfanator1 that's tough but that's poker, have had several of them.Nightmare was A's/K's boat and got busted-4/5's busted with their 4/6. Have had good luck with 4/K's and a few extras. Don't get discouraged you just have to suck it up and keep digging.

I kinda think that you should have seen this coming. If there are 3 of anything out there then it only takes 1 more. Did you bet any where in here and if so how much? Maybe a really strong raise after the flop would've gotten him out. You wouldn't have gotten much money for your power quads, but you wouldn't have lost $250 either.

I don't think he's looking for criticism Brianna, just sympathy for his bad beat. I know that when my quads get beat by runner-runner four of a kind, I dont like to hear "you should have seen this coming", especially for $250.

Thats rough gelfanator, I would have been in tears. Thats a lot to lose on runner-runner fours!
