Yep as with most freerolls doesn't pay much. Cashed 8th in this thing a few months ago. Don't know what i was thinking even playing in it.Took like 6-7 hours. Haven't played in a while doubt i will. Huge freerolls with low payouts not really my thing especialy since ive deposited.

The best finish I've had is 18th/7500 = $3.75. As indicated in the OP, this is a good arena for practice so it really depends on a peep's objective >>> cash or improve skills (optimally both would be nice ). Reg is available 24 hrs in advance so there are numerous sitters...kinda boring if one is the only live peep @ a table >>> raise, raise, raise to get the blinds (kinda dull if the practice for the day = blind stealing ).

Top 5 to 10 % would be nice. I used to play at party poker a long time ago before they banned USA, they usually had top 10 % , but they were mostly $1000 freerolls, i think top 5 % would be perfect, because there are so many sitters, at least tou would get something however small for playing fo a few hours.

Read my post. I am recommending freerolls for practice. The fact one might earn some points or change is not relevant really; just noted that such a freeroll is "out there." (The "restricted" flagging does not always prevent folks from entering them.) Freerolls are where one's pocketbook experiences the least harm in actual losses and yet enables folks to learn from aggressive tactics, for those times when their personal monies are seriously at risk.

I totally agree itlegacy (as indicated in my earlier post...#7) >>> great arena for practice...but for some peeps the time-benefit is not as valuable to them as their motivations &/or goals may lie in a different direction. Right now I'm getting excellent HU practice in the PokerStars' Americas Cup Freeroll Shootout SNGs (81-peep)...consistently winning the 1st table & come in either 1st or 2nd @ the Final Table; for me, the shootout format is excellent for the HU's practice, in a freeroll environment, since there's only '2' tables involved >>> the HU's practice is my motivation & primary focus (not a ticket to a $0.10 tournament that has max 10K-peeps); I have 5-6 of these tix & have yet to register for the 2nd lvl...if the other remaining peep is a solid player & we're eveny stacked, I'll even ask if they have won a ticket yet & state that I'm just there for the HU's practice --- if they haven't gotten a ticket, I'll 'throw' the game so they can get a ticket & I'll just reg for another game (as there are a bazillion of 'em) to continue practising. Hopefully this isn't construed as chip dumping (which is against TOS) as I'll wait for a decent hand to do it so it seems as though the other peep @ last earned the win. That way you get your practice in with good effort from opponent, they get a ticket either way, and you can not be accused of chip dumping? Just a thought and - I like the generous side, but dont want you losing your account for something so trivial (especially since it is a philanthropic gesture) Last edited by jernest : 20th March 2010 at 10:43 PM. The 'generosity' is not a major concern since I doubt that the other peep would view/report it as chip dumping since we're the only 2 left & it's a freeroll; this is the only instance I'm 'generous' plus PS is already aware that I am a bonehead .
