Fulltilt and seized money

I was curious about the recent money the feds seized,So here is Fulltilts handling the situation,

We assure you that Full Tilt Poker uses a number of other check and payment processors that are in no way affected by these events. You can request a withdrawal via check or any other available method in the Full Tilt Poker Cashier and it will be processed as usual.

Rest assured, your funds are safe and secure. We continue to support a variety of alternative payment processing options for both deposits and withdrawals, and we understand the importance of providing all our players with fast access to their funds on Full Tilt Poker.

That's cool that they have a solution. I just started playing on Full Tilt's site again and was considering leaving with the whole money thing going on, but a few friends of mine said they were getting their withdrawals without any hassles.

This is rather fishy indeed. Can someone fill me in on why the feds had to sieze funds?
