Fulltilt locked my account 2 days before bonus deadline

Yesterday I sent FT an email asking whether there's a fee to transfer money from FT to my bank. Instead of answering my question, FT replies telling me they've locked my account because of "recent activity against my credit card," which is BS. I did not request a withdrawal, I simply asked a question about withdrawal.

Anyway, they asked for photos of my ID and credit/debit card, which I immediately sent to them tonight when I got home (that's when I saw their email about locking my acct).

The deadline to clear my deposit bonus is Monday, and I am literally several cents away from clearing another $10. It looks all but assured that they will not reactivate my acct before the deadline. Could they have locked my account to save $10 in bonus??

I doubt they would have done that for a measly $10 dollars considering they make so much..

Maybe when you sent the e-mail they decided to check your account and found something a little suspicious... You should be fine if you didn't do anything wrong and just comply with what they are asking.

There is zero chance they locked your account to save themselves paying a $10 bonus.

i doubt they closed your account over $10 i made the $50 today and im all good i haven't had any problems on there and know of many other players that haven't had any problems on there either i believe if you dont do anything against the rules on any site you shouldn't have anything to worry about

it might not be a recent thing it could be dated back awhile and when they went fishing around in your account that tripped something

Keep the emails going out to them so they wont forget you sent in the requested information. If you have two people with two separate accounts on the same computer they still verify you identity. Or you may have had an old account that you forgot about and the email you use is associated with both accounts. Just throwing out a few scenarios that could be causing your problem. Just make sure to keep the emails going. X

re: Fulltilt locked my account 2 days before bonus deadline poker

Oh hey thanks guys, I think an old, defunk, account may be what caused it then. I initially registered and tried to deposit from my Citibank checking account/debit card, but the transfer was blocked (I am in the US). So I ended up creating another account and used echeck to transfer from my Washington Mutual account.
I never even used the original account and forgot about it. Didn't think it was a problem. The email didn't mention that at all. But your reply reminded me.

But it still sucks to be locked out just a few minutes of playing from another bonus.

That really stinks hopefully you can get it resolved, they might have seen something amiss with your account. GL

They notified me my account has been unlocked this morning. It was because of the duplicate account thing. It was my own mistake of not remembering that I had made another account beforehand. I did miss the deadline to clear another $10 of my bonus though by a few cents. I wish I had waited after I had cleared it before I emailed. But FT resolved the problem pretty quickly. I was afraid it’d drag on for weeks. So all in all, not too bad.

That's good - and if you were working on the Take2 promotion you still have a couple of days if that helps.

If you complain to them, there's a chance that they may give you the bonus anyway- you have to get a hold of an account represntative- they have a fair amount of leeway to issue credits and such.

bodog locked my account once and I bitched about how I missed a tournament and they credited me $20.

re: Fulltilt locked my account 2 days before bonus deadline poker

I asked if they could extend my deadline for one day. They said no.

Well, at least I have the $50 Take 2 bonus. I’ll be happy about that.

hello

i'm an ex fulltilt poker player
actually if they wouldnt have banned me 3 moths ago i probably still play again
altough i sent them lots of emails to tell me when/if they will unlock the account and i didnt received an answer
in july i was banned because of a friend,he asked me to help him transfer some money..actually he sent me 1400$ on my account and he said" send me to my other account"(he was on the account made on his mother's name)which i did.after 2 minutes the system gets me out of lobby and said "the system cannot log you, please contact security@...."
i was temperarly suspended, but after 5-10 emails they said that they closed my account and reason was fraud.i gave them an explanation about this situation and they didnt restore my account
after 3 months i tried to contact them again and still no answer.
the question comes now:does anybody know if an account is banned, after how much time,i will be able to play again?
i have to mention that i have one PC and one notebook and 3 internet providers and still cant play.
if there's anybody here that might help me,i will deeply appreciate it.

P.S:sorry for my english,but i'm romanian

I got banned from fulltilt aswell.back in the day when I knew nothing about poker, i made multible accounts there so i could play in the ppa freerolls and then ide just transfer the money around.Didn't know ya couldn't multi-account, had no clue. They shut me down and said good luck in your future eandovers er something like the.So the hell with fulltilt, kinda mad at myself because i actually enjoyed playing there.it was so easy to win.
