fulltilt has huge $ amount tourneys for new depositors

i was looking through the free rolls for a second and i hit a huge group of tournaments for people who are first time depositors from dec1-31 it goes by where you are from but i checked out Canada it is 20k free roll and their was only 90 people who entered makes me think i wonder if their is a cap you have to deposit to get into it because if a new player could deposit like $10 and get in that tourney and have a chance if they cash they get 400 and if they get first they get 5k that would be sick you could win in and withdrawal like 5k just to play 1 tourney i am sure more then 90 people would be in it at the end but i am sure it would be worth more then a $10 buy in tourney

$10 to win $400 just to cash seems to good to be true, and $5K if you win a 90ppl tourney. You should send FTP a message about that, and there is only 3 days left in December, GL with that.

yea man i know you can check it out like i said though i don't know if their is a certian amount you need to deposit or anything but it seems like a lot the 20k is just for canada too other places have diffrent amounts it is tournament number 127241668 and it says canadian players who made their first deposit between 1-31 of dec r elgible and if you are not Canadian their seems to be one for everywhere else lols i just looked through i don't think their is any american ones tho

it sounds great...however...it is regional restricted tournament...and only eligible for Canada players...

yea but their is ones for more then just Canada their is a group for like all parts of Europe and junk it seems like their would be a catch but idk what it is

Yes, I have done that.
No catch. I deposited the minimum amount just to be able to play the First deposit freeroll, won some money and no problems. That was one year ago.
I think they have those every month, for all countries except for the US.

Yeah I have yet to deposit on Fulltilt but iv got my eye on the first depositer freeroll and the nice bankroll boost it would provide. Im from the UK so I think its a $10k freeroll for me. But im sure there will be a field of a couple of hundred.

The Canadian one is set up for a Jan 3rd and is a $20,000 free roll and currently there are not that many registered.I have a buddy who signed up thru me ...Friend referral and he has entered this tourney.There are freerolls set up every month different values for depositing peeps from all countries.For some reason FT does not go overboard in promoting or publishing these...I don't know why... If you make a deposit you should search the freerolls ...1st weekend of every month following your deposit.Side note when I made my first FT deposit earlier this year I played this and won $80.00

been looking through those,deposited but couldn't find the african 1...grrrr,so i just gave up !!i'd love to play a 20k freeroll with 90 ppl or even a 10k

20K freeroll... 90 ppl... if i was in one of those I'd have to pinch myself to make sure I was awake and it wasnt a dream.

im pinchin my self cause i just deposited $10 and am now in this freeroll. 104 people registered and top 45 places pay starting at $150, top place is 4k. can this be true???

it is dec 31 and 129 ppl are entered right now so that makes the tourney worth more then a $150 buy in right now for a free roll that is insane money i would have trouble playing for that limit to be honest because you are facing people who are on their first deposit so i am sure they either made a account to play it or they are not very good at it but neither the less i would love to be at a table no one showed up 2

I just min deposited and cant register (I originally joined and made a deposit in November) so unless it takes a while to activate my entry (as I deposited just before the 12am EST) then it looks like its only for first time depositers which sucks as the oceania comp only has 52 registered with 5k prize...paid from place 18 onwards starting at $100

Yes, this freeroll is just for first time depositors from Canada who deposited from December 1st - December 31st 2009. I think they similar freerolls running for other countries.

imo... Fulltilt is the best online poker site period (esp. for tournament play). I find it difficult to get myself motivated to play much on anyother site.

this tourney is on sunday at 17:10 on full tilt. tourney # 127241668. it looks like brandoncards and me(thebrank on PS and FT) are the only CC members signed up.

i'm a cash game player(micros) and dont have that much experience in tourneys although i have played a bunch of freerolls on PS but usually the mixed games ones as the NL tourneys are just a shit show. ive been tryin to practice tho and readin a lot of tourney strategy here on CC. i dont really know what to expect in a first depositer freeroll tho. probs a bit of a shit show in the beginning and then gets better? anyone know?

Ful Tilt do this every year. The tourneys are restricted to first timedepositors only. There is no catch to this. I played last year and did very well. I won more than I deposited.

My withdrawl check from Full Tilt bounced over a month ago. Still no response from their support.

I'm out of this freeroll. I finished 90th and took $80. It was a hectic ride to get there, I was hitting absolutely nothing until I had 300 chips left and had no choice but to push my chips. That was enough for me to play tight and make the money.

i just finished the tourney. came 58th for $80 too. didnt play badly and had to make a balsy call early on with Js and that pretty much set me to cash. had to make a fold with 2 pair cause the turn was the worst card in the world, it competed the flush and a st8. had As once in the SB and it was folded to me, that kinda sucked but i am happy to have cashed. called a SS who had Q5o after the bubble burst with AJs and hit a J on the flop but he rivered a Q and went card dead from there on. thank u evilpoochie and FT.

wow.!! that was a real sick! $20k is a very big prize pool and the tournament for this $20k is so too good, But about 90 ppls that was a real sick! But is only for the new depositers! already deposited ppls doesnt have the chance..!!! :@
