FullTilt Freerolls

It;s has been a very long time for me since i have played in any of there freeroll since they added more player to them. so yesterday i gave it a try i was playing in the 9,40 am freeroll and after sitting for over 5 1/2 hours only to be knockout in 49th place, talk about alot of play and nothing to show for it, it would be nice if they would cut the betting time to 10 seconds and make it a super turbo with that many player in them , it like they would have you put money into you account then to play the freerolls. anyone else feel the same way as i do?

Not only that but if someone gets disconnected, 90 seconds feels like too long, I think they should only get that time if they have made a bet, seems like most are folding anyway. Also did anyone notice anything different in the time clock, I think it is a one time 30 second clock (you would think I would remember) but I was playing last night and ended up bubble boy and could have used the time clock to make the money easily. Anyone know if that is a new change, I have never not had a time clock unless I used it earlier but dont think I did, I may be loosing my mind too so thats a possibility lol.

If I play the 150s any more I only play the turbos, honestly it takes way too long to cash in the others, I think there needs to be a little more luck in the turbos but I cant stand the regulars anymore.

I totally agree with everything being said! The 10000 qualifier for the weekly freeroll is a waste of time!I won it twice but never cashed in the 30000 donkfest that follows!

As for the 150$ freeroll, the most important thing, even more important than being turbo, is letting the first 100 players cash!
God I finished bubble boy there last week and I can tell you, it doesn't feel nice! If the 1st 100 ppl get to cash it's a lot more fair and it means that actually 1.5% of the players cash which is still too low but not as low as 0,66%!!!Don't forget that usually at least 5% of the player pool should cash and we're not talking in even half of that right now!

Seriously!Someone should make full tilt change their mind but I think it's a voluntary policy so players would just get fed up and deposit...Until then the only playable and fast tourney is the daily dollar qualifier(lota luck but still good cashed twice there cuz 200 out of 7500 win...)

That freeroll to me is a waste of time unless u dont have a bankroll at all and dont mind spending 5-7 hrs to make $5- $25. My suggestion would be just deposit $20 and play from it unless you are just beggining and want to learn the game before you play real $

Seriously, people - if you're in it for the money, don't play these little Full Tilt freerolls. It's just a brutal waste of time. There are better freerolls on almost every other poker site!

If you're in it for the fun (or challenge), well... knock yourself out.

I prefer the turbos to. Investing 6 hours is a little much in my view.

Im new to this site but I have been reading alot of the forums and the only reason I would really join in a free-roll is to have a stress free but fun game. I like the idea as well of playing with people that I can talk to; most tables I play in I never socialize. When I go to make money I usually multi-table and don't focus on the players at all, however joining a community would add an extra spice of fun to the game I think.

I think the freerools are hard to cash in unless you get super lucky. if they were super turbos that might make a difference. or if they were for a larger dollar amount with more places paid. PS does something where they give you entry into a larger tournment I like this idea better.

You have to look at Freerolls as a bunch of little tournaments in a big tournament. Your going to get donked and unlucky and want to chuck your computer out the window but eventually you'll get there. I placed 8th in the $150 Razz freeroll and I hate Razz, cashed 5.25

I agree, I don't like wasting a bunch of time.

The regular freerolls on Full Tilt are a joke.

I like private/qualify freerolls too.

I do also agree on the fact that it takes forever just to win a little bit of money where you have to sit and waste 5 hours just to win little amount, but as for me, i have no money to spare so it's all i got. lol

6 Hours

That's much to long to play and then to see the returns of that tournament.Sure the money is fine and everything but just look at the amount. That's way to much time to invest for a minimal return.

I think they should lower the amount allowed in each tournament and make it a turbo tournament because playing like 5-6 hours for a maximum of 18 bucks really isn't worth it.

These freerols are to hard to win any money at and waste your time. Now if you are playing the ones for an entry into a larger event then you do have a little better chance to make some money.

These freerolls are very very difficult to win because most of the time people make unrealistic decisions and sometimes they get lucky. When people don't have to risk their own money, they usually don't mind going all in. Does anybody agree?

Yeah its pretty ridiculous to play in those freeroles. You have to really want to sit there for 6 hours to get a couple bucks if that. Super turbos would be fun!

I quit playing them because it's just too hard to make any money. I now play little there but the daily dollar freerole. It's far quicker - usually one hand - and you can back out of the daily dollar and use your buck elsewhere.

FTP freerolls is totally a waste of time and effort. You have to sit for a couple of hours just to get some few cents and the play is always a donkfest. It is better to play the Daily Doubles than the freerolls.

yer the free rolls are just watchn people play crazy and going all in on any hand just trying to bully you off it. for the 5 hours you play for its not worth it usually. I just enjoy playing the New Zealand free roll because its only 500ish players

Definitely a lot easier to get money there for free than to sit for 7 hrs on Full Tilt in tournament with terrible structure. Full TIlt needs to work on the pay out structure of their tournaments. Not to mention eliminate the one's that register just to sit out the whole time it would really help on speeding things up getting ITM.

Freerolls can be worth your while if you have patience and the time to put in. I built my initial bankroll all from freerolls, and learned the game as I went on. I've found it's more tolerable to play in private freerolls from reputable forums, provided they don't have issues with password thieves.

Agreed,I pretty much gave up on open freerolls.I cant see playing 3+hours for nothing.I d rather just deposit, than to sit and play that long.If I was alot younger and had plenty of time to waste, maybe.Extremely long games just arent for me.

Question about FT tokens. Those are just used like cash to buy into tourneys right? Difference is that you can't withdraw the value in cash?
