Full Tilt Vs Pokerstars

I personally prefer Full tilt as it does not have as much players and therefore the tournaments dont tend to go for a whole day. Pokerstars just doesnt 'click' with me.

I play the double or nothing games at PS. If FTP had this I might never play at PS except for the FR's. Not saying PS is bad because it isn't.

I prefer Full Tilt over Stars. I like the software a Tilt and think it's much more pleasing to the eyes.

I like Full Tilt better because I like there promotions a lot, like the biggest bonus ever and the take 2. iron man is also sweet.

As I see a lot of people don't like full tilt because of their bad beats. Some people like pokerstars cause their pocket hold most of the time. In my opinion, I prefer FTP too

I really dig the software on FT. Tried to play on Stars and I just can't get into it. Also FTP has had some really great promos lately. That said don't think you can go wrong on either site.

Tilt has the best promos. I guess Stars is so big they don't need to. I play on Tilt because I have money there because of promos. Otherwise I like Stars better. Seems like there are fewer miracle rivers.

If you REALLY want to up your game, PS is the place to go. I won't say FT is a bad site because I do like their MTTs and multi-table S&Gs.

I just don't see the same kind of CRAZY suckouts on PS that I do on FT. I won't even be in the hand most of the time and I end up hitting the last hand button just so I can see it again. It seems to me that too many of the micro players are learning to play by watching ESPN or something like that. The all in PF with 10 6 off suit beats pocket J's AND pocket Q's at the same time. ( no reason for the idiot to go all in like that, he was out of pos. with an above ave. stack) just stupid sh-t like that I've seen WAY too much at FT.

personally i like FT better. the interface just seems more user friendly than Pokerstars. Although i do like the guaranteed MTTs on pokerstars usually they have too many entrants whereas FT fields seem to be smaller...just personal preference though.

people saying the bad beats are worse on FT or pokerstars obviously haven played other sites to notice bad beats ARE AT EVERY SITE...currently i play on Ultimatebet and the bad beats still exist....its not any worse at any site so thats no excuse

I play a lot on Full Tilt but I think I like PokerStar better, but then again....

I like FT better just because of the look and feel to it. But PS is also good imo.

I have played at both and at one time I liked the PS look and tournaments. I made the switch to FT about a year ago and have not looked back. FT is now home.

Anyone who picks a site based on the bad beats or the luck they have there isn't thinking rationally, its random. Just go by what software, tournaments, and player base you like more. For me that is PS, couldn't get into the look of full tilt, though I would like to play our freerolls there if I'm ever available for one.

If you are a micro-stakes player pokerstars charges less rake compared to FT, accordng to PTR but FTP have a few great promotions.
I would say I have gotten runner runnerd a few times in FTP and havent had any as far as I remmber in PS. I am winning more at PS, don't know if I got better (became less aggressive with premium hands) or had more luck at this site.

Same as listed, the integrity (unlike Ultimatebet, we all know that scam of millions fo $'s) the ease and convenience... Also the fact that I don't click with Pokerstars... its ghetto and needs a new look asides from the other ones.

biggest reason why i choose ftp is the grafic..

FTP sucks IMO.

FTP has less traffic, higher rake at the micro limits (especially if you don't have rakeback), their customer support sucks, and I've experienced a lot of trouble trying to cash out money with them (I'm in the US and know that many other players have had issues lately).

PS has MANY more players, lower rake at the micros (anything below 25NL), better filters for cash games, and I have NEVER had a problem cashing out funds from that site. Since I have never had problems with their site or money issues, I have never had to deal with their customer support. So I can't give you an honest rating for it.

See... in my head I know that I'm supposed to like Stars better. Better rake structures, better support and better overall loyalty programs.

But their software just irritates me - I don't enjoy playing at Stars anywhere near as much as Full Tilt. Plus my brief dealings with Full Tilt support have been pretty good. So that's where I'm spending most of my time for the time being.

I like Pokestars has a much nicer look and has the most action, cant beat that.

Sounds like FT is more popular here. I play there too. They have great software and promotions. As for the argument of some sites having more suckouts, i think that is BS.

Ok im the opposite lol. I much prefer the look of full tilt. Stars to me looks terrible. Doesnt look like they have put as much effort in as full tilt did.
I know you can change it but that yellow background on pokerstars really annoys me. The idea of the fact that you can have your own picture is good though.

Overall though i think tilt has much better MTTs. Stars tourneys jsut go for way too long...its so painful to play

Also i think that pokerstars has a different payout structure..i remember thinking this one time in a MTT, i didnt like it at all

I like the promotions at FT. They give out a lot of extras(take2, WSOP Fantasy League, ect.). Also, their freerolls are easier to cash.

I like them both for different reasons...I love the final table on FT & you can change PS to a really neat table if you wish. The only thing I don't like so much about PS is the sheer number of people in each event!

Full Til is my preference, no question. Prefer the software and graphics. PS freerolls are ridiculously large.

Wow seems like almost every1 prefer tilt. I actually like tilt also. I use to play strictly stars. Than when i came to tilt software is so much user friendly. Now tilt is my poker room.

You never know when a good promo is going to come along on either site so I keep money on both

I prefer Pokerstars by A LOT! Full tilt is a lot more flashy, and for most is more asthetically pleasing but I actually prefer the simple more subtle look of PS. They have also semi-recently reworked there micro-stake point awarding system (theres no way thats the best way to say that lol). PS has bigger tourneys, bigger gaurauntees, more people, more games, more limits, JUST PLAIN MORE!!! I guess there loyalty program is supposed to be unmatched (I play micro's so therefore don't play at a high enough level for this to really effect me).
