Full Tilt Take Two

was checking promos this morning and noticed that take two is starting on april 8th. 5 take two bonus points a day 5out of 10 days five bucks 9 out of the 10 days 25 bucks but at no place does it say how much rake or ftps needed does anyone remember from last time???

Sweet, Full Tilt are really bustin out the promotions these days. I'm not too sure how long it takes to earn the 5 bonus points but from what I remember it took about 30 mins on 2 1c/2c tables (coulda been 2c/5c)

Think I'm gonna go for 5c/10c this time to get it over with cos I'm not the biggest fan of cash games.

1 FTP is essentially 10cents paid in rake. So 50 cents paid in rake a day would be 5 FTP.

This is a great promo for micro stakes players but they really should try to include some kind of incentive to go well beyond these small numbers. Like if there was a free $500 for hitting 1K points a day for 10 days or something. As it is, it I'm playing those days fine give me the $25 or whatever but there is no way I'd alter my schedule for it.

You always earn more from a promo that you lose in RB.

I never got a RB hit from the last 2 take 2s, of course they did completely change the rakeback structure since then.

Havent seen this promotion before but it looks good and a nice little earner if get the nine days. one question does 5take 2 bonus points equal 5 ftp as in normal play?

If the $25 is affected by rakeback, you get $18.25 for playing. Great for players playing 2NL. Last time this promo came, I had $10 and didn't want to risk it. Definitely want to opt in this time

Take 2 has never hit rakeback. Rush week hits rakeback.

Does anyone know if your double points for happy hour count? Don't believe it addressed that in the rules.

Yes. The best way to track it is to add the Iron Man widget to the client. You'll need 5 point according to that counter.

Thanks WVH, I'll see how it goes, 25 pts should not be too hard, even at the micros at 2 tables. Not as generous as last year (25 days of 30), but not bad.

Hey Divebitch if you do the promotion during happy hour you get 4x the points but like WVH said its only your base points that count and you can keep track of those using the Iron Man widget or reloading the "My Take Two Status" page.

Take 2 at Full Tilt Poker to earn up to $25 AND double the Full Tilt Points that you’d normally receive for playing in your favorite ring games.
Running from Friday, April 8th to Sunday, April 17th, play at least two standard ring-game tables at the same time or any Rush Poker* table during Take 2 to receive double the Full Tilt Points. Play as often as you can during Take 2 and we’ll also reward you with up to $25 in cash, depending on how many days you play.
Earn up to $25 in Cash

The more you play during Take 2, the more you’ll earn. Earn at least five Take 2 bonus points on any five days during Take 2 to get $5 in cash. Do so on nine of the ten days to get an additional $20, for a total of $25:

Level 1: Play on any five days during Take 2 and receive $5
Level 2: Play on nine of the ten days during Take 2 and receive an additional $20, for a cumulative total of $25

Earn Double the Full Tilt Points

There are two ways to earn double the Full Tilt Points during Take 2:

Play TWO standard ring-game tables at the same time and receive double points at BOTH tables. For example, if you earn 60 points while playing on one table and 40 points while playing on the other, you’d normally receive 100 Full Tilt Points for your play. During Take 2, you’ll earn a total of 200 points – 100 points for your play and an additional 100 bonus points.
Play any table of Rush Poker* – the world’s fastest poker game – and receive double the points. For example, if you earn 100 points while playing at a Rush Poker* table during Take 2, you’ll get an additional 100 bonus points for a total of 200 Full Tilt Points. Rush Poker* is the fastest way to earn double points during Take 2.

This^^^ $25 just doesnt give the same incententive anymore.

I haven't bothered the past few times they've run this promo (it's nowhere near as good / rewarding as it used to be) but now that I'm playing PLO ring games regularly I guess I'll take the free money.

apparently some rakeback provider is saying it hits MGR this time. Which doesn't make sense to me as it never has hit MGR b4.
