Hi .....,

After reviewing our records, we've noticed that you previously have emailed our customer support team requesting rakeback.

We are unable to offer you rakeback as you were referred to full tilt poker from an affiliate that does not offer rakeback. We're unable to switch your account from this affiliate to another, as our agreement with affiliates prohibits this.

However, you've been selected to receive a special Full Tilt poker bonus: we're offering you $10,000 - a bonus equivalent to an average of 27% rakeback. This trial bonus is only available to a select group of players and you have until 23:59 ET on December 31st to accept this offer.

To accept your bonus, log in to Full Tilt Poker before the offer expires and go to Requests. Select Check My Bonus Offers and click on Accept.

You then have 360 days to clear your bonus amount. For every Full Tilt Point you earn, $0.04 of your bonus amount will clear. Each $20.00 you clear will be moved from your bonus account to your real money account. Check your status at any time by clicking the 'Bonus Account' button in the Cashier.

We may contact you in the future via email to request your feedback on this offer. If you have any further questions, please contact support@fulltiltpoker.com.

Sincerely,
Full Tilt Poker

Well thats very interesting. However, the math doesn't work out there.

From Full Tilt's website:
Ring Games: For each dollar raked from a pot, every player who was dealt cards for that hand will receive 1 Full Tilt Point.

6.75 points = .27cents of bonus unlocked = 6.75 dollars in rake NOT 1 dollar in rake.

Unless they mean to say that 10k is 27% of the rake you've paid this year, in which case well done, but to unlock your bonus you'd have to play crazy more hands than you did this year.

If a point is equal to a buck in rake then they should be unlocking that bonus as a rate of .27 cents per point.

Also, anyone know how to make a not equal to sign? the = with a / through it?

Rake from the pot (shared rake), not just from you. I know for every $1 in rake you pay in sng/mtt fees you get ~7 points.

Good point D'wilius. Forgot about that. Anyone have the resources (enough hands/motivation) to calculate the accuracy of their claims?

Maybe I'm just bitterly sniping Tilt as they lured me back for the Holiday Bonus, and then shafted me out of the last $10 with 13 cents to go while destroying math to take back all that I had made while unlocking the bonus. And no RB.

I've sent FT at least 10 emails about rakeback in the last year, each time they've said 'we've forwarded your details to rakebackpros who will be in touch' they never have, still no rakeback. Im thinking of taking my bucks elsewhere soon

I agree, whats funny is that I was reading the Leatherass in the well thread, and he mentioned about emailing them and saying you're going to take your money elsewhere, etc, so I think Im gonna do that, but first Im clearing a bonus there, so I'll get that out of the way before emailing them.

^^^ I suspect that friend of his had signed up directly through Full Tilt. (or at least would be generating a hell of a lot more cash than any of us ever would in rake)

well sometimes it depends they look at your poker stats and see whether it is profitable for them to give you rakeback if you are playing freerolls and .01/.02 cent stakes probably not if you generate a lot of rake they'll consider you they accepted my request for rakeback luckily because i raked a lot of money for them so far.

maybe they'll give you rakeback if you show them you do generate a lot of rake. Just dont over-do-it and lose money in the process :p good luck.

if you didn't sign up through an affiliate, why wouldn't they just let you change to a rakeback affilitate site?

Just looking at my own points and rb last month the .04/FTP is spot on. Doubt FTP rolls this out for everyone but I'm sure it will be used to retain/attract high rakers.

Thanx to reading this forum, I sent FT an e-Mail requesting rakeback & rec'd the same 'we've forwarded...' response^^. I then went & registered @ RakeBackPros (& rec'd a we've-forwarded-FT-your-info response) then notified FT about the RBP reg & FT sent a reply indicating that I qualified for rakeback...this was on 12.10. I sent a followup e-mail to RakeBackPros yesterday inquiring about the confirmation stat from them & rec'd a we're-looking-into-it response? Sheesh.

coolnout, glad to read that you're one of the select few for the bonus equivalent.

I'm confused as what you are asking but here...

  • Ring Games: For each dollar raked from a pot, every player who was dealt cards for that hand will receive 1 Full Tilt Point. For example, if $2.00 in rake is taken from a pot, each player who was dealt cards will receive 2 points. Fractional points are also awarded; if $2.25 in rake is taken, players will receive 2.25 points. A maximum of 3 points can be earned per hand.
  • Tournaments: For every dollar paid in Multi-Table Tournament or Sit & Go fees, you'll receive 7 Full Tilt Points. There is no limit to the number of points you can earn per tournament. For example, if you play in a tournament with a $10 buy-in and a $1 tournament fee, you'll receive 7 points; if you play in a tournament with a $200 buy-in and a $16 tournament fee, you'll receive 112 points.

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

There is a test group of players who are not linked to any affiliate, who have been assigned to an affiliate 'rakebackpros'.

The reason for why we were unable to put your name forward for consideration is because you are already linked to an affiliate. It would violate our Affiliate Agreement to move a player off of an affiliate account.

Since you have not been receiving rakeback from this affiliate, we have placed you on an alternative list for upcoming promotions as compensation.

Regards,

Tomotaka
Full Tilt Poker Support

Apparently i did use an affiliate :(
