| Full Tilt SCREWED me! What can I do? Help please. So I have this account I created like 4 years ago...which I can't rememer the password for, because I stopped playing poker for 3 years. So I started a new FT account. I started from ZERO, just freerolls, never put a dollar of my own money into it, and built it into a 4 digit bankroll. Now my dad decides he wants to play, so I set up an account for him. He needs money so I "tried" to transfer funds to him. At that point FT locked my account, saying I could only have one account and it had to be the first one I created...they were even willing to transfer my funds to the original account, which surprised me, but I'd have been happy with. But I don't remembe the password for the original account. They'll email me a temporary password to the email that's registered to the original account, but that was a work email from a job that I no longer work at, hence the email account no longer exists. Am I screwed. This is a lot of money and complete B.S. around a technicality that I wasn't even aware of. There must be SOME WAY to get my money back. I don't care which account they let me use...Just ONE,,,I was only using one anyhow, I just set the other one up for my dad to use. Help GREATLY appreciated. | Its not a technicality and you should be aware. You are allowed 1 account and 1 account only. This applies to any online poker site. As Debbie says you need to continue to communicate with FT. |

| ^^^Exactly. You will need get in touch with them and provide ID and change your email address in your FT profile. If your dad provides his they should let him have the other account and p2p transfers, (taking your word for it, that it is your dad's account) Good luck |

| re: Full Tilt SCREWED me! What can I do? Help please. poker Thanks, I wish I knew....I woulda just had dad set up his own account...it's just that he sucks with computers and wouldn't have figured out how to do it. I was having to register him in his own freerolls etc, because he is computer illiterate. I'll continue to communincate with FT and hope for an amicable solution...but it takes FOREVER for them to get back to me each time and there is NO phone number to call. Can they just "take" all the money I won? Even if they close all my accounts, don't they at least have to give me my money? |

They can seize any money they want from anyone caught with multiple accounts. Its in the Terms and Conditions. That said, they tend to be quite fair on these sorts of things. |

| It's not BS, it's not a technicality, and it's long been the RULE. 1 account per person. You foolishly ignored this when you set up your 2nd account. And then again when you set up an account for your father. (What? He couldn't figure it out himself?) Now you are the one who has to prove you are not a cheat. FT won't cheat you out of your money. You just need to clarify that you are who you are, and then come to an agreement as to which account you can use. This may involve sending a ton of info about yourself. Just do it. It doesn't sound as if they are being at all unreasonable. And they are talking to you. So be nice and give them what they need to make sure you are who you say you are. Be patient. It sometimes takes time to fix your mistakes. And, gratefully, they are willing to listen. |

| It will take time and patience to get everything smoothed over with FTP, but if your on the level and explain to them everything you explained here, I'm sure they may just see it your way as they will notice you had not used your original account for the past 3 yrs. Keep us up to date with what's going on. Good luck. |

| They are very fair. They would only seize your money if they discovered some kind of multi accounting scam... which they obviously wont. The reason I'm really pointing out to you that you have caused your own problem is this. In your line of work, how do you prioritise a self inflicted problem? If someone gets in contact with something they have caused themselves do you drop everything or do you put it in the pile and get to it when you can? Now if FT had caused the problem, you would likely see a quicker solution.. just as I would imagine you would prioritise a problem at work which you caused. |

| I hope they're reasonable and realize I set up the 2nd account for my father. I mean, why would I want to transfer money from one FT account of my own to another FT account of my own. That wouldn't even make sense. Anyhow, you folks are the most knowledgeable and helpful folks of any poker site out there, which is why I'm a member here. Thanks for the encouragement from some of you that I "may" have a chance. |

| You have a chance if if everything is as you say it is, you and your father will be able to have accounts as well. If you stick around long enough you will see why we may seem "accusing" Lots of first time posters start a thread with a similar title to yours to say how they have been wronged, but then facts come out and I would have to say 9/10 were trying to scam the site. Good luck with your situation. |

Sorry couldn't resist. If you were a member with thousands of posts I am quite sure a pm to a mod could have helped you. I cannot believe if you were a member that long and made that many posts you would forget your username? |

BTW, I keep an excel document for everything poker. One of my "tabs" lists my email accounts and where I use them. |

| OP the same thing has happened to lots of people. Usually emailing them enough proof of identity will accomplish what you want. Assuming your story is legit, they will make you jump some extra hoops, but eventually it will get resolved. Just comply with what they ask you for in terms of documentation. While you certainly aren't the first t odo exactly what you said, you won't find any sympathy on most forums. GL tho. |

| re: Full Tilt SCREWED me! What can I do? Help please. poker OP, I have had the exact thing happen to me two years ago. Well, except for the "second account" thing. I too set up my computer illiterate father with an account with FTP. His credit card at the time was issued from Chase and Chase does not allow online transactions so I transferred him a few dollars ($100 I think) to get him started. Next day I go to log on for a sesh and I find that my account has been locked. I check my email and sure enough there's the message from FTP Support saying that I was using multiple accounts and that the assets of both accounts had been frozen pending further review. The fix was easy, it just took time. My father and I both made and sent copies of our driver's lisences, photo Health Cards and a recent utility bill to prove we were in fact two different people. Two weeks later our accounts were unlocked and as an apology for the inconvienence we were both even given $25 from FTP. Now in your case you do have two accounts in your name so this may make things a bit trickier. But if you explain the problem to Support as you have explained it to us and have patience, things should be resolved to your satisfaction. They will probably transfer your balances to your old (origional) account and erase your new one, but at least you'll get your money back and regain your playing priveleges again. If all goes well, which it should. |
