| Full Tilt Satellites I play the Daily Dollar Satellites, then play the tourney or bank the 200 FTP. I noticed there are other satellites for around a buck that you can get into the MiniFTOPS that pay a few thousand bucks to the eventual winner. Seems like a great way to increase the BR without too much risk. Anyone have any success stories with these? I'm thinking this might be a good way to diversify your game. Take a break from the daily grind and take a shot at a big tournament with a very, very nice payout. Last edited by LizzyJ : 11th May 2009 at 11:13 PM. |

| The MiniFTOPs is winding down but I thought I'd insert my 2cents. I've played in a few of these satellites but haven't had much success. Most of the miniFTOPS satellites are turbo and I usually avoid turbos as much as I can. From what I've seen the play is still fairly loose and most of my bust outs have come from players overplaying the flush draw and such. I remember entering one crazy satellite that I just couldn't resist: Turbo game (3 min levels), 300 chips, blinds at 15-30. Of course a starting stack of 10 BB is not really worth it but I just wanted to try this once! If you're considering satellites to enter a miniFTOPS you can try something that I've done. Instead of entering a MiniFTOPS MTT satellite, I entered the super satellite (i.e., satellite to a satellite) for the Double Deuce, a single table turbo SNG ($.75 +.15), and using the winnings from that to enter a MiniFTOPS game. I've played in only 3 of these so not a lot of experience to talk from, but I placed first twice (1st gets $5.50 & 2nd gets $1.25) and basically I just unregistered from Double Deuce satellite. Just remember that if you do this, you'll get the money back in tourney money. I didn't mind since I'll be using the $11 tourney bucks to cover most of the entry costs to the MiniFTOPS #24 ($12+$1) Knockout tourney. |

Today it was worth $84 after buying in for $4. Will be happy if I can get it to $10K from $4 |
