Full Tilt and Poker Stars ,,,is catering to other countries

TO begin with let me say i have nothing against players from other countries,,,OK,,,so plz don't think i do!!1

Now i was playing in free rolls the other day and was noticing all the free rolls that Full Tilt and Poker Stars have for players from other countries ,so you thinking whats my point right,,,ok,!! (Well as United States Players we are not allowed to inter those tournaments!!!!!) As i kept playing i started pointing my cursor around at the free rolls that am able to play in and noticed that 50 percent of the player are mostly from other countries and i don't think it fair to the U.S players because of the 50% of those players are mostly the DONKS THAT WE ALL GET TIRED OF MOST OF THE TIME,,

PLZ. what is everyone else think about this we should protect out games for the U.S tournaments ,,,because we are not allowed in there's??

Your questions... You fail.

As for freerolls, as an American I support their freedom to offer freerolls to whomever they want. More new players from other countries will attract more inexperienced players to the other games, which is good for me.

Also, those freerolls are special in that they are allowed to speak their native language, whereas in the other poker rooms they have an English-only policy. I have no problems with this.

They have a right to offer freerolls to anybody they want to in an effort to promote their sites.

It doesn't bother me in the least.

Other Countrys

As you may or may not Know, Full Tilt And Poker Stars are both staitioned outside the US! As are most, if not ALL the other internet poker rooms! I may be wrong as I am at times, but being from out side the US, They cater to most everybody in the world! And who ever has the gumption to open/start different poker games, they are the 1s who get the most press!

First off this post makes litle sense to me......Why whould a FREEroll bother you? Its FREE! Thease site hold freerolls to attracte new customers so the make more money. Not like its you god give right to get a 100freerolls a day.

Well this remark is kinda racial, are people not from the US worse poker player?
And if you whould check witch players have -ROI im preatty sure more of them whould be from the states then rest of the world-Not because more bad players are from the US but because more people from the states play on these sites.
and why whould you ever get tired off donks? Atleast for me i ussualy note the donks and look them up later...one of the reason i now have a +ROI.
Do u really just whant to play against good players? How are u going to make money there?

Well there are also freerolls for players only from the US as there freerolls for players from germany, france,uk,scandinavia, asia ect...

These sites are international companys, most if not all are based out site the US. So why should they tread US players better then people from other countrys?

So what are you really complaining about?

YEAH ,,I KNOW ALL THIS ,, i do make the DONKS with notes ,,not really complaining to a point that im steaming mad or any thing,,it just i would like to play in all the free rolls or tournaments in general that i can ,,im a decent player and i dont have a lot of money to play real money tourney's so i just think it is not fair (in my opinion) that they can get in any of the tourney's they want to but U.S players can not!!!!

A) Why are the answer options to the poll question just more questions?

B) When a bar has "Ladies Night", it is usually because there are plenty of gents there already. Same thing in this case. The US is well represented in the online poker customer mix and the poker sites are just trying to get more players from other countries that aren't as prevelant patron-wise. Basic Marketing 101.

Uh, do you see a little contradiction there? lol FWIW, I think donkitude goes across the board. But moving right along...

Guess I'm in the minority, because I agree with you on this... I do find it mildly annoying too see all these $100 freerolls every little country that are starting in a couple hours that are not even half full, while EVRY last one of the open freerolls fills up in 40 seconds. Hey, FT has waiting lists now, how thoughtful. hehehe

But 'protect our games'? Unless cardschat.com has majority ownership of FT or PokerStars, there is nothing we can do. Mass boycott, petition? I don't think so.

The poll is senseless, but this newbie gotta know something. Second poll I've seen where you vote for cake or bastard. The other one involved poker table skins, and choices ALSO included 'the are distracting' and 'they are not distracting'. So, what is this??

I don't mind playing poker with people from other countrys, but today I was in a free roll Sng with 9 other players, who were all from Finland, and chatted non stop in Finnish. Two players go all in early on,turn up the cards, one has 26 off. Seemed fishy. This happened on Bookmaker.

p-nuttin I get your point and it's a valid one. The responses you are getting are expected, from those who do not rely on free rolls to build their bankroll. Don't let them tilt you.

P-nuttin every one understandes your point but i dont think the care, its a freeroll! If your so upset about it just deposit and then you can play anything u like.
A freeroll isint some thing you should be upset about.
Like other people have pointed out PokerStars and Tilt have a strong US base but are trying to get people from other countrys to the sites.
People from outside the US can choce from alot more sites then US players so obvs. the big sites are trying to get them from the smaller sportsbetting poker sites to there site,by offering various promotions.

And yes im preatty sure every one on this site can speak english, unlikly that a person that only speaks french is hanging around a english speaking forum.
