Full Tilt Poker Problem

Im a new user on Full Tilt Poker, and within my first 24 hours of my first deposit I already had a problem and now it is ongoing and I dont think it will end soon.

I used a friends bank account to deposit the first time, and thats where the problem begins. I used his account to deposit 10 dollars, and the next day my account was not being verified so I emailed them. A while later, I recieved notification that i had to provide ID and bank statements. I emailed back saying that it wasnt my bank account that was used to deposit money, so I could not provide those documents. They repeatedly asked me to send them those documents, which i could not do because i am not the owner of the bank account which was used to deposit money onto my FTP account.

Eventually, I got into contact with a FTP support person who said they "understood i was not the owner of the bank account ending in ****". Then he proceeded to ask me again for the bank owners ID and verification, which i then asked him to provide because i knew why. I sent his drivers license and bank statement and expected everything to work out, only to have them respond telling me that the ID i sent did not match the name on my account. So i explained again that it wasnt my bank account!

Im extremely frustrated and just want to play poker, and its getting rediculous.
Can anybody help me or anybody have a similar situation? Am I ever gonna be able to play?

try buying a Visa pre-paid card of at least $25. or get your OWN bank account brosinheimer. .lol

Really though try the pre-paid it works everytime..this way you do not have to risk your own bank account or in your case a friend.s. !

How in this day and age do you NOT have a checking account??Nevermind-none of my business. You just have to fet the prepaid or another method of depositing until you get your own.

It doesnt matter about my bank account, its the fact that the support people dont let you go! They ask for the stupidest things. I feel like this problem should happen a lot, especially for first time players on a certain site. I just want to know what i have to do to get my account unlocked because me sending ID isnt quite doing it apparently...

Just send them your info. I think they want to ID verify you, not the checking account. I have used my husbands account to deposit on my full tilt account and he has too. There has never been a problem.

They told me to delete the info on one account before i use the same bank info on a different account, is that what you do?

Of course it doesnt really matter to me right now because i cant get on my account and they take forever to respond

I have used my fiance's card on FTP and never had a problem..
How many FTP accounts did u say u had?

No, but it is rare we deposit and it is small amounts.
Maybe enough time lapsed or something.

I have also seen this # as 1-888 use option 1 if in the US

What is stupid is using a "friends account" to fund your account in the first place.

I have one account that I just recently made my first deposit on. My friend has one too thats where the problem occured.


TPC, thanks for really adding to this thread! Until you said so, I didnt realize it wasnt smart to use a friends bank account! Wow, thank god for you!

It's impossible to add to this thread. I don't know what you expect. This is CC not Full Tilt. You actually think anyone is going to be able to help you with a deposit problem on Full Tilt?

Use common sense next time and deposit on your own, then you wont have problems like these.

Implying that you have more than one account with Full Tilt?

Right...well that is what I too was getting at. I don't think you are telling us all of the info. Just my $0.02

I think he meant he needed to delete his buddys bank info off his buddys account before using it on his own. If he had 2 accounts he wouldnt be so stressed out that his new account was locked. He could just jump back to his first account... Just an opinion. But either way, you should just get a prepaid card like someone suggested. Do it yourself to avoid these problems. FT is a HUGE company. They will take forever to get back in touch with "the guy who deposits 10 bucks from his friends checking account".
BY the way, do any of you guys know what type of visa or MC cards are being accepted by fulltilt to loadup? Meaning prepaid debit or gift cards. Any specific ones that go through without a problem?

liam- I have heard that visa international prepaid cards work on full tilt and most others.

ibrah- For future reference if full tilt does open your account back up, next time just get your buddy to deposit on his account and then transfer it over to you.

I have a buddy with the same issue. I deposit on mine and transfer to him. FTP are very fussy with Ids and stuff

A. My Visa debit card would not go through last week, FT said it was temporary.
I haven't tried to deposit since because I free rolled a few bucks from omaha hi FR and built it up to $200 currently. So, my deposit problem actually was beneficial.

Using someones elses i.d. would bring alot of problems if you had to verify the account. I have not had no trouble verifying my accounts on any site, I usally do it as soon as i sign up so that if I do get to withdraw I don't have to wait on it.
