Full Tilt Poker Points and Bonuses

Hey guys, just wondering...
I know the system at full tilt about bonuses, is that you have to earn a certain number of points before it gets released to you in certain increments. Can i then use the points on tournaments, or will that cause me to lose the bonus i'm working towards?
Any help is appreciated,

If you're talking T$'s, I think the answer is tourneys won't hurt anything. Not perfectly certain what your question is though.

Don't know for sure but it was something like this.
If you have 300 ftp ,and you need to collect 500 points and want to play a 300 ftp tournament you can play. If you lose or win you still need 200 points more to claim your bonus.

Although I do believe that when you redeem points it costs you $$ if you are on a bonus or rakeback........
