Anyone know what stakes one would have to play at and for how long each day that would require. Sounds impossible. I struggle earning 50 ft points a day even when I play +5hrs/day; of course that's on the micro tables =(

It's probably right around 1K hands / day average at 100nl for 100 days. So like 30K hands / month. Not a ton at decent stakes.

Still dosen't get you rakeback. To try and get 'blackcard' without rakeback, just won't work. Stars VIP program is open to everyone and until Full tilt changes there entire reward program people will still be left out. I quess they like it that way.

edit: over a 100 day "rolling" period. So you pretty much have to avg. 500pts a day ALWAYS.

but if you have rakeback AND have access to these bonuses, it'd be hard to refuse.

Of course, as mentioned previously, you'd have to be playing 100NL+ or the $24/$36 STT's to expect to achieve this. Could happen for me a year from now...

50NL grinders could get this, especially 50NL rush

i don't think it will be nearly as good as supernova though, tbh. maybe half as good. double FTPs is okay but theyre worth so little as it is. the ability to buy cash bonuses is nice, but there will still be a MGR hit surely. the store would have to have some really nice items/deals to make me think otherwise

Yeah, I'm out. Not sure what it would equal in terms of $2/$5 STT's, but I'm sure it's way over what I'm willing to play in a day.

But still nice to know they are working on getting more out there for serious grinders. I might be able to get it one day.

Only 104 eh? So if I just cut out sleeping, and install a toilet in the computer room and have the mailman deliver my Jenny Craig to me through the window, I should be able to almost make it. Sweet. Maybe I'll give this a go.

Im in the same boat with dg. I still dream in a future where get any close to iron man, this is really way out of our leagues.

If the rewards are decent enough, i'll probably increase my volume a bit to get it. I've been slacking a bit lately, but it really shouldn't be that hard to get it. Something like 30 hours per month 16 tabling 100nl. No biggy.

Well, black card is geared towards players who already get ironman on a regular basis and need an incentive to play for more than 200 points per day. I've been ironman for the last 28 months, but i typically average a bit less than 500 points per day, so i'm pretty much at the center of the target audience for that new rewards program.

On the plus side, you pay a hell of a lot less rake than I do. Just checked and I've paid them about $37000 since I joined FT. And fyi, 16 tabling 100nl FR costs a bit more than $50/hour in rake. That's a really expensive hobby unless you manage to get the other players at the table to pay it for you.

It's good to see that FT are trying to market towards the more serious grinders with a SN type reward system. I think PS will probs still be better for those who put in truly serious grind though. We'll see soon enough.

Just had a quick look at it and they actually send you a card through the post lol. Can't check out the store yet though.

IIRC, at the moment, FT offers better rakeback (with RB, points and IM) than SN at PS if you just reach about 100k vpp. PS starts to be better with the 200k vpp milestone.

Black card will probably move the point where FT=PS around the 200k or 300k vpp milestone. PS will still be the only game in town for SNE-type grinders.

I would really hate it if FT moved towards a super top-heavy rewards program like PS has since that's really bad for the games with 24-tabling regs invading the tables.

The rewards system does suit me and a lot of other players better than PS at the moment and I wouldn't mind it staying the same. You get what you play for at FT. SNE is and probably always will be the biggest reward and best place to play for SNE type grinders.

I've noticed people mention and complain about the 24 table grinding type and I suppose it's only a problem at PS, lets keep it that way

I'm a black card member Shocked as I never even had a 500 pt day in September. I did do 25 days over 200 points for ironlevel ironman. I don't understand how they say I'm averaging over 500 ftps over the last 100 days. I didnt get over 1k per day for 7 days during rush week to earn the maximum bonus and had a couple 500 pt days in August but the average just doesn't compute. Whatever, I guess I'll get my black card in the mail this month

Did you try adding it up as each dollar paying 10 pts instead of 7? That may be why. The change in pts may compute up to over 500 per day average.

I'm assuming at the BC store the bonus' you can buy are purchased with FTP's? If they are then wow, that's a massive improvement in player rewards from FT. I'm not sure if they're over priced but it's straight up bonus and I'm sure is the best way to spend FTP's from now on.

I think the previous way to spend FT points was tourney tickets or not at all. A $256 ticket to the Sunday brawl costs 55k FTP's. A bonus from the BC store for $250 costs 65k. If you enjoy tournaments then I'm sure spending them on tickets is still legit, but for pure cash grinders, there's no contest now.

Thinking it through, the rakeback will hit it obv, but I'm still sure it's a viable option.

You think they went back in time and computed whatever I had done from 7pts to a dollar to give me credit for 10pts per? Maybe. But if they did that then they should recalculate all the weighted average vs. dealt hand rakes lol.

what are the requirements for the black card?

I think its designed for folks that have money to burn all day everyday.Wouldnt it be sweet to have that luxury.For the select few so fulltilt can make some bank.
