Full Tilt Poker, $600 deposit bonus impossible?
If you play at Full Tilt Poker you're probably familiar with the 100% deposit bonus (up to $600) for first-time members. Of course like the other ones, in order to redeem for the money you need to collect points by buying into tournaments and playing raked hands.
The point rates differ from site to site, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me from first hand experience if it's realistic to get all $600 of that bonus within the time limit, and what kind of bankroll it would require to be able to invest that much time and money into games and tournaments without any worry of going broke. And if you get the bonus for $200 or $100 or some smaller amount, I'm wondering how long you would estimate it would take, and under what sort of conditions. Is it one of those things that is just about impossible unless you play all the time and/or super high stakes? |

Look carefully at the conditions for the bonus, and look at the rake that Full Tilt take. I think Full tilt's rake is very high, meaning that you are going to pay a lot more in rake than you receive in bonuses cleared. If you are a successfull player and enjoy ring games, than the bonus is going to pad your bankroll, but unless the bonus deal is a real stormer it's a mistake to play just to churn it, because variance will be bigger than the bonus amount (you'll probably be betting $20K plus to clear $600.
If you want to post the full rake details i'll work the figures out for you if you want, but there are plenty of old posts on site regarding Titan's $600 bonus which should help. |

Look first at sites that have an easier to clear bonus, then the larger bonuses when you have enough to play at larger stakes
