FULL TILT Points...and the trade-off!

I've been playing alot lately...had my ups and downs...and if myMath is right ...I have been making about 300 points per $30....is this considered a good trade off....or should I just forget about my points and concintrate on my bankroll?

If you are trying to clear a bonus the by all means keep a track of your points, but if you are not clearing a bonus, forget about the points, let them build up and then you can use them to enter a tourney.

300 points is worth at most $1.50, you mean that's what you get for every $30 you lose? I'd concentrate on winning money otherwise its like taking your paycheck to chuck e cheese and converting it to tickets through skee ball.

I agree. FTP's should be something that you don't even look at but rather just concentrate on grinding. Then after a while, you can see how much you have and use them to get tickets to some decent tourneys if you're so inclined.

maybe i'm tired but i'm not sure on what your doing exactly.
working towards ironman, bonus or just accumalating points?

you must be playing a lot of cash games, ring, and if you are thats good.
it takes me a little more than that to get 50 points and that's if i straight lose, no wins.

of course i play mostly tournies and i have to work on the ring games. so i can clear my ironman and bonuses faster.
