Full tilt player name

I have an account on Full Tilt Poker however I do not like my player name and wish to change it, I have tried to do this but can't find an option to do so! Is it possible to do without creating a new account? as I know on full tilt you cannot have two accounts as I have tried before

Nope you can't change it unless the circumstances are pretty exceptional

You're pretty much stuck with it. You could request Full Tilt to delete your account, then make a new one, if you really want to change it that bad.

Naa have like 6,000 full tilt points so dont really want to throw them away! might save them up and get something decent and then request to delete it lool they defo need to update there software so you are able to do that though I'm sure quite a few players hate there poker name or have a much better on they like!

yah they should 'defo' do that.. except that then the regs. would be able to continually change their names & would be playing w/o reads... might as well play RUSH. (although it's not readless).
in other words.... there's a reason why you can't change ur sn.

Like the others have said above, unless there's some exceptional circumstances (in which case it's usually them that comes to you asking you to change your screen name) you can't change your name. It's also against the site rules to open a second account so you're pretty much stuck with what you've got. Learn to like it IMO. It's just a name, after all.

The only times I've ever heard of people being allowed to change their sn at FTP is when they used their actual names as their screen name. Occasionally if other people find your name offensive FTP may make you change it but outside of those 2 reasons you're stuck with it.

you may be stuck with it, however, I do know of one person who was allowed to change their FTP name because someone was harrassing them.

not sure what FTP considers acceptable reasons for name changes, however

I know that wayyy back a couple people had other people email full tilt for them complaining about that persons username being offensive. Then the actual person who wanted it changed wrote an email saying he was being told the same. I am pretty sure they changed it. Hard part is convincing FT that your username is offensive, especially if it's not even close to offensive.

Lol I was thinking about that because I created my username there with the expectation that someone would find it offensive but as of yet nothing Cause I wanted to change it down the line but nothing has come up.

FT won't delete it, I can guarantee that. I asked for it once, and like stated above, they would only change it under 'extenuating circumstances', like if you used your full name and wished to be become anonymous.
