| Fishes who signed up with rakeback (fishes typically don't) will see a huge increase in their RB payments. The affiliates of fishes who signed up without RB are opening champagne bottles at this very moment. Regs will all lose some rakeback. Some regs have started to post their numbers at 2+2 and MGR computed using weighted contributed is typically 75% of MGR computed using dealt method. This will be compensated to some extent by the fact you get more FTP points, especially for 6max and HU players. RB from points is worth 8.3% (dealt) for a black card holder. Getting black card will actually be significantly easier with the new way points are awarded. |

| 7/5 nits are screwed very significantly and should all move to Pokerstars. |

There no way to both play a winning game and be a net winner from the move from dealt rake to weighted contributed. |

| I would like to understand the impact on my rakeback ,on the upside I play a lot of 6 max and Sit and goes and very little full ring. On the cash games though I am definitely tighter than most. I guess I will know just by looking in a few weeks though Full tilt say they are implementing the changes to give a fairer distribution? does this seem likely or is there some not quite obvious profit based reason for the change I would have thought that this would really impact on rakeback if you play tons of super tight Rush ring games. One less reason to play the evil joke version of the game |

| Ok just created a custom stat in PT3 to figure this out. Under the old system my MGR through today is $20,247.47 or $5,417.90 in rb. Under the new system my MGR would have been $19,004.99 or $5,131.35 in rb. So the new system is effectively cutting my rb from 27% to 25.3%. I don't currently get enough points for black card so unless the new points scheme covers a few % points of rb the net effect on me is negative. Thanks FTP, great new "rewards" scheme you've got here. Custom Stats attached as zip file (WC Rake Paid and WC Rakeback (27%)) for any PT3 users who want them. | re: Full Tilt moves to weighed contributed rake computation poker Seriously why tf did FTP make this so difficult. I have no fking idea if this contrubuted system along with BC will benefit me. I currently avg 850 pts/day (over 100day rolling system) so I qualify for BC. Im playing $100nl rush full ring at 15/11. I get 27% rakeback, so what the hell will I end up with now. I suspect this new BC thing is one big fail of a promo! |

| I dont have rakeback and dont play much cash on Tilt, but would be annoyed if I did. Probably change the site I played on I hate sites where its contribution based. Most used to be just if you was dealt a hand now one by one are becoming contribution based. Good for the maniacs, bad for the ones trying to earn rakeback or deposit bonuses WOuld it affect people who played ante games like Stud//Stud8/Razz |

For me, it's like dropping from 27% rakeback to 23.5% rakeback. BC adds about 3% RB afaik, so in the end it should change nothing. |

| http://www.pokertableratings.com/blo...ards-the-nits/ Might be useful to some people. The old method significantly benefited tighter players as you can see from the table. Belgo has pretty much nailed it here but adding my own bit. It'll be a pretty huge difference to some people but it will be more "fairly distributed" if you want to call it that. The more rake you generate the more you get back. Fishes then. |

dealt rake > actual paid rake > weighted contributed rake the above link confirms that for TAGs, dealt > actual. And much more so for nits. But the move by FTP goes too far in fixing that. Instead of making it fair, they make it so that they tax winning players in order to give money back to the fishes (for the very few who signed up with RB) or to their affiliates. |

I just did a 100nl 6max session playing 24/19 and 3betting 8%. Dealt rake, rake paid and weighted contributed rake were pretty much identical, so that would more or less be the break-even point for RB%. On the other hand you win a shitload of FT points at 6max now, so that's an improvement. |
