Full Tilt - Lets do a deal!

Loving the new option on FTP. You can make a deal with the other players at anytime to split the prize pool. I was in a 5$ SNG and was offering the deal with 4 players left, the others were up for it apart from shortstacker who had most to gain, though maybe he had chat off or something.

Anyway, once we got him out of the way we did the deal. The client works out the payouts based on stack sizes down to the cents (though you can customize the deals too). I was in bad shape with 2100 while the other two guys both had roughly 5.5K. The payouts worked out that I got roughly 11.50 and the other guys 16.75. So I got more than the 3rd place payout and they both got more than the 2nd place payout and I think everyone was happy. I think this will change SNGs for good and I`m all for it .

Sounds interesting - will it stop people playing for 1st place in these small SNGs?

Nice new feature. I've used it on other sites, and it was not only for sit n gos, but muti-table tourneys as well. I've found that there is usually one or two holdouts, though. If everyone agrees, it's a fair way to split the pool and shorten the game.

It seems like a good feature.
Definitely better than having someone promise to sent you a share and wondering if they'll keep their word.

You got me to join a game just to try out this feature... ended up losing before I had a chance...
but still very nice new feature, thanks for letting me know about it.
Kind of gives the game a more homey feeling I think...

I don't know if it's good or bad cuz I haven't tried out yet... but I think is a good step cuz it imitates a little more what can happen in real life

I think is a nice improvement and specially useful in tourney when ppl have been playing for like 10 hours and are really tired and with similar chip stack

I've seen the new feature and finally talked the other two playes at a sng into clicking it just so we could see the screen. Two of us didn't really want a deal, so we ultimately didn't do it. But at least got to see it. Looks like a couple of options for payouts. The screen kept popping up and then disappearing. I'll have to go to "help" sometime to work out all the functionality. seems like a good option tho.

Interesting feature. Thanks for sharing the info. I actually self-excluded myself from FullTilt for 14 days (expired today) to try to be more productive and get some much needed work done. I had no idea there was an update and additional features!

^^ agreed!!!

Say no to the chop in the SNG and instead, pound away on the blinds of the player's who wanted a chop, lol.

The feature is available in a 9-plyr. SNG??? This seems hard to believe... hmm..
Seems it was a long time in coming for Fulltilt to add this feature to their site. I too have used it on other sites and thought it was pretty cool (even in a freeroll once, lol).

I tried to use this feature today to give it a go but I was second in chips when we were heads up. He thought it was confusing and didnt know how to give me the control (or he didnt want to). Ive read how it works so I was keen on splitting the first place $22 and 2nd place $12 in the Sng to 17 and 16 dollars repectively.

How do you convince a player its better to chop?

He was so confused he just pushed cancel and my KK got beat by his JQ first hand. Lucky Dumbazz-people should get a tutorial how to use it so the better players don't get screwed out of that extra 5 dollars (sounds arrogant but everybody knows when they can beat someone).

Do you guys think theres a point at which you just play for first because you're sooo far ahead like 3/4 of the chips? I think if I have a two to 1 lead or more Im gonna play for first.

I would never agree to 'chop' while HeadsUp in a 9-plyr. SNG. Always play for 1st imo. I'd consider chopping if it was a 45-plyr. SNG, headsup with very high blinds, or a large-field MTT,... other than that I'm just going to play it out.

They are trying to keep up with the PS deal feature. Played the 10c 1k guaranteed and made the final table finishing 5th but nobody wanted to deal. maybe its still too new at FT for the players.

It's good

It's ggod to make a deal cause you can earn more if you think you can't win the big money prize, but you look always for the first. It's hard but possible.
