Full tilt poker is the best. I lost $26 due to a bad connection a couple of days ago and to my surprise, after i mailed support and they checked my account, a $26 token was deposited into my account. Well done FTP!

I only hear good things about Full Tilt Poker but I don't like their program. I downloaded and tried it but just couldn't get into it. But maybe I have to try again.

if it's the avatars you don't like, you can get rid of them in the options (it's what i do). you can change the table design a couple different ways too. if something else, shrug

I really don't like the avatars and have mine off, too. However, the one I selected still shows to others. I wish there could be a "none" selection.

Once in awhile I'll toy with my avitar expression even though I have mine all turned off. (right-click on your name). I've actually pulled a huge bluff once by appearing to be "very happy" when the flop came down. Only way I knew it was the avitar is that the person bluffed commented on it.

You remember that person's name by any chance?

I think I'd REALLY like to play with him/her.

Once I played with this guy named blankoblanco on PokerStars and I had 83o and min-raised UTG, everyone folded around to him and he called from the BB. Flop came AA9 and I typed "I FLOPED THE NUTS" and he checked, so I bet 4x the pot and he folded and I showed and he was like " " and I fistpumped and took notes on him being a donk. Everyone should find him and play with him.

full tilt points are based on rake paid, aka the only way to get them are to play to play real money/non-freeroll tournaments

well, you have to look at the chip count to make certain. after all, it's not like we see such "actual not fake" hand histories here every day...

i <3 this thread, you guys are awesome.

Both Stars and Full Tilt also have a great method to 'compensate' players if either of their sites go down in the middle of a tourney...unless you were already knocked out when the site went down. If you're gone before, then you get nothing. But, if you're still in it and on FT, the prize pool is divided to those who were remaining, based on chipcounts at the time the site went down. That's very fair. On Stars, you get your buy-in back...or I did, anyway, bec I was in the middle of the pack when it happened. Those who had most of the chips might have gotten more, but I don't know. Yes, if you won the seat in a satellite, you still get the buy-in from the game you won the seat to, back.

PS did up the max entry, but they expanded the FR's as well. There are now two Round 2's each week (Sat and Sun), the big FR's give tickets to the top 88 or 99 seats (depending on whether it's an 8 or 9 seat table) and the Round 2 pool raised to $2,000.

FT is a good site, but they all have their good and bad points.

I've been playing Full Tilt for a couple of years and have never been disappointed in the software and/or support. Even a FRW like me got compensated a couple bucks when the site went off-line.

I've just started playing Stars in the last couple of weeks. I placed ITM on a freeroll that paid cash (not entries). Haven't seen one since.

Those 12K tourneys are really a nightmare...
