Full Tilt deposit glitch or scam? you decide

Hello everybody,

I am hoping people can let me know if they have had problems depositing money in Full Tilt poker where they have seen the deposit failed box come up on screen and later realised that the money was taken from their bank accounts but not deposited in their poker accounts. Would love to hear from people who have had similiar experiences.

Never heard of it before on a reputable site like FT. How long ago was this? Are you sure it wasn't an authorization hold and for some reason the charge didn't complete? If so, the funds will reappear in your bank account after after a few days. The money had to go *somewhere* or there will be all sorts of accounting balance issues at one place or the other.

This happened to me a few weeks ago because my crappy wireless disconnected during the last step of the transfer so the money didnt successfully go through. When i checked my bank account the money had already been debited but when i checked my poker account it said the transaction had failed. After contacting customer support they managed to sort the whole thing out and i managed to recieve all my funds afew days later.

That does not sound like fun.

Can I first add that, I too am facing the same cold hard truth that is my pro online poker career, being flushed away one deposit after another.
Now your situation is very unfortunate, and did you say you still havent gotten the money back? Is this still the case, if so that is very shady.

On the other side of the argument Full Tilt is the least likely site to scam anyone it seems. They didnt get to where they are now by stealing from anyone. As far as the security issues go, I think thats a good thing they take those precautions, it makes me feel better about my account with them.

None the less, good luck with everything, but while you might want to write off your online poker career after all this, dont be so hard on Full Tilt, they will fix this for you...at least I hope so, keep us posted.

Why not just grind a few freerolls then start with micro tournaments and build up from there..

umm havent had his problem on ftp yet but it happend to me on carbon few months back lost 30 quid and never got it back grrrrr
